. . . what do you think, when we build a team of "Easterling-suggestors" the next round on mithril main board?!
So to say the ESC! (Easterling-Suggestors-Club- no, not European Song Contest!)
Maybe "the company" will check something . . .
As far as I am concerned I would have a second try . . .

Unfortunately that didn´t work!
Obviously only Master Caster, Master Thingol and myself are deply for Easterlings . . .

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

What a shame your entry didn't make it. I voted for my entry and then realised Master Thingol must have done the same for his....hmm I guess 2 votes for one entry would have been better wink

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

OK- seems that my entry was toooo late.
Just place my vote on the Easterling Clan Leader. Which has got TWO votes now!
Same has got the Easterling Shaman, TWO votes. We should concentrate on ONE of those entries, maybe one can see daylight . . .
I suggest the Clan Leader in this case . . . cool

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

I'm currently editing the first post to have the chronology up to date and I am trying to find a way to have this list in a more ergonomic way, outside the forum for better reading...

I also took the liberty to edit the database and updated entries for Queen Mirien of Gondor, Princess Merien of Dol Amroth, and Sangarunya... putting a (MERP creation) flag, and some background info on those characters from the ICE modules (Minas Ithil, Far Harad, Heavens of Gondor)

(trying to be a bit useful again to you all gentlemen sad i feel ashamed for the lack of work I provided lately hmm  )

PS : Milo, can you confirm there is no more holes in the Mithril range (except for the Helm's Deep 3 set and MS622) ?

Alas, unfortunately the only thing I can contribute to all this is to thank "you" very much again for what you did to update these very MMPages once again. When I say "you" here, it is plural, Gildor and Milo.

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

I would like to give a memory to this discussion.
Unfortunately the "clan leader" didn´t make it . . . maybe due to Master Barliman´s missing vote . . .  ( wink )

so- another chance this month. I suggest to focus on that "clan leader" and give Master Thingol´s "shaman" another chance next time?
( certainly a fantastic figure!!! )
Maybe the "clan leader" has got a real chance this time . . . who knows . . .

Off topic, you mean?
If I start to wonder every time an "off topic" thing crosses my way here inside this forum,
I keep on wondering all the time . . .
But be sure Master Barliman, you are not the only person who wonders . . .

119th suggestion : May 2015 : MS624  (or MZ ?) "Tobold Hornblower" (Submitted by Harald "Hwolf" Wolf)
121st suggestion : August/September 2015 : MZ626 "Ohtar with the shards of Narsil" (Submitted by Thijl "Mornedhel" Duval)

I am also very much excited to see whether there will be a difference between M- and MZ-releases.

On pictures isn't possible to see some big differences between "old" and "new" figures...

Do you know what these differences may be? I'm quite fond with how the metal miniatures have looked and felt up to this point.

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

well MZ stands for Zbrush.... Chris Tubb has been working on sculpting on 3D software he has learned how to reproduce his very own sculpting style but on computer . the last three figurines released are the very first figurines that have been virtually sculpted .... All the figurines which are realised using Zbrush (the 3D software he is using) will carry the prefix MZ

this allows for more details in sculpting and also reduces the complexity of making a master cast.    the master figurine is 3D printed.... and could be re-printed anytime in the future, no risk to see the master being deteriorated and thus having the figurine become rare before its time (like it happened to the M16 or others)

the final metal castings that are sold are indeed made using regular moulds and metal casting,  only the Master is 3D printed.

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

New miniatures are added in MMP Database: Chr2016, M626, M631

I also removed "Z" in M625, M627, M628 references.
