Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

Good grief, did I catch a fleeting glimpse of an Elf....? No one here now, but I'm sure I saw one.

And we're all very grateful as ever, Master Elf. It's just "nice just to know that you're about the place", as Bilbo once said to Frodo. MMP remains the friendliest LOTR figure forum there is.

New miniatures are added in MMP Database: Chr2016, M626, M631

I also removed "Z" in M625, M627, M628 references.

Last 2016 fellowship minis are renamed MS, as per Mithril.ie

Yes, that's what the sub-reference reads. I don't understand all the fuss about Mz and M (again).

(I'd forgotten all about Duinhir still being due for release! Nice figure, and I shall, of course, take immediate advantage of the discount.)

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

Well, still looking for my mojo, too.
This new figure certainly will NOT help to find it.
But: this Easterlibg Champion figure- which found its way to my workbench of a very gentle person will try its best . . .

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

I added MZ624, MZ629, MZ633 in MMP database.
Master Gildor, it seems there is something wrong with images for MS625, MS626, MS627, MS628, MS631; Probably due to the fact it was created at first as with M ref. instead of MS now.

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

yup the repository  must be totally mistmatched , will try to correct that manually

the folders for images were still MZ, and not MS

you can notice though that the reference name in the upper left corner of the image is wrong too...
the one on faerylands database you posted is the old "MZxxx" ref... on the official site, it is "Mxxx" while in the end the reference is a MSxxx..

that's perturbing

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

Thanks for the corrections. Images are displayed.
Mithril got confused too. Best for MMP is maybe to use ref written under miniature base ?
Meanwhile I will ask the company if they can also update pictures & leaflets according to definitive reference.

Btw... my figures MS625, MS627 and MS628 have on a base engraved only M and not MS !?!? on leaflets is written also just M.. but on MS631 and MS626 on base is written MS and on leaflet just M.... :-/

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

the use of "MS" for those references is a "retcon" actually.... Initially meant to be MZ... then M (because finally they were not made using 3Dprinting, mithril removed the Z but forgot to put a S instead and after release, when we mentionned that it would be confusing to have GF figurines simply using the "M" which is reserved to retail released they decided to put MS back in the catalogue and official referencing for sales purpose and referencing purpose, but the figurines had already been made...

in the end the official name is MS and should be so; calling them "M" would generate a lot of problems in terms of marketing communication (NB : we must not forget there is a dedicated distributor in contract overseas in the US, and that applies to them too...)

The Irish donĀ“t know what to do either.

Re: Mithril and the Fellowships Chronology

Hi folks

Sorry I didn't follow the talking recently,
but I'd like to know if anybody knows something about Elfhelm mounted?
He won the voting in April 2015 !!!, but there is no trace of him, is there?
Many figures winning after him already are produced and for sale, so I just wonder about that
