The incredible shrinking Aragorn

Hello all,

In the last Mithril sale I finally bought Aragorn at Helm's Deep miniature LT2. I wasn't quite sure about the 50's haircut, but I got it anyway.

I've always loved the first Aragorn Mithril produced M124 (well, the second, first one is sat in the Prancing Pony). And I like it among other things because the scale is right and it shows he's a tall DĂșnadan.

But comparing the two, the newer one is far smaller! Even taking in account that the pose is different, it looks significantly smaller.

So, the coherence of the range is kept in some aspects not true to Tolkien as complete armours but it fails to keep some things that were right!

To mortal fields say farewell,
Middle-earth forsaking!
In Elvenhome a clear bell
in the high tower is shaking.

Re: The incredible shrinking Aragorn

It's a matter of artistic interpretation... matter of power and vision at the time of creation... I'm sure Aragorns haircut in this L versions of Aragorn... sucks ... really looks as it has a '50s hairstyle roll

.... Farewell to Middle-earth at last. I see the Star above my mast!
