The Travelling Elrond

I thought it might be time to search for a track of Elrond... Hopefully, Wendy will know better than myself the wereabouts of this little globetrotter smile

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I think his last stop was in Spain. From Spain he was ment to cross the water on his way to Germany.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Well, I know where Elrond is.  The problem is that I didn't memorize where he was to go.

I know he goes to Fadrion next, then to someone else in Spain, then a few stops (4 or 5?) in Germany, then to Holger in Australia.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

As far as I remember the last stop in Spain was at Ori's place. Then he should be sent to Holger's sister in south Germany, from there to Zoetrop ... though I also think that Estel lately asked if he could host Elrond in between ... I don't know about Bombadil ... 'd like to be last in Germany, please, before sending that Traveller to Australia ...
Oh by the way, hsf62, there's no water between Spain and Germany ... it seems a long time ago since you left these areas :-) :-)

I was somewhere in between, receiving it from Zoetrop if I remember correctly...

Aha! Elrond is here with me. Next stop will be Fadrion and then Meanas I think. After that he will leave Spain heading north

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Could Someone here post the travelling course of Elrond? as a summary please? (the places it has visited so far and the next steps scheduled)

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Although waiting for Elrond to visit for three years now, I know he is a busy fellow, and I will continue to wait. After the southern continent he was to cross the vast waters to the new land, and visit with those of us here.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

It is raining right now here. Elrond does not want to head north in the middle of the winter. He still needs to visit some of the fortress built 1000 years ago against the southern enemy. He will leave quite soon with all the migratory birds....

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I have a very old, unupdated list in an excel file, but I will have to wait till I get home to look at it.  (Visiting the in-laws this weekend.)  I'll be able to give a summary of where Elrond has been up to now from that.

I thought Maenas was after Fadrion, but I wasn't 100% sure (I knew it was someone somewhere in Espana smile ).  I know that Holger's sister is the last stop for Master Elrond in Germany so she would know the person that is to receive the elf next (that would be Holger).

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Yes Wendy, per my last post, Elrond was to travel to Minneapolis, USA after Australia. Originally I was on the list after Mithrandir and Dernhelm on this itinerary. But going on vacation for two weeks, I offered to receive Elrond later.

I had no idea it would be years!!!

PS. Thanks for my avatar

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Silly me.  How could I forget the ranger in the corner.  smile  I edited the list above to reflect the additions.  I had forgotten Axe99 as well.  I'll keep him on the list for now, even though I haven't heard from him in a while.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

What is so complicated about this matter?
The old list is gone for good. Alright.
So we have to start anew.
As for now he obviously is in Spain at the moment.
Good. So he's not lost.
Over there still Fadrion, Maenas are awaiting the Travelling Elrond.
That means some more weeks, months in Spain.
That leaves us time to plan his further visits, doesn't it?
So why do you haste?
There's time enough to find out a new route for him.
What concerns me most about this matter is that the pics of his previous stays obviously got lost.
That's a hard one. d****d !
As I am sure that everybody who hosted the "Travelling Elrond" has kept pics of that event somewhere, we might reconstruct his travels and even be able to regain the pics.
I'll try to help with this ... I'm optimistic, you know.

Ditto here Wendy.  I'd be curious as to whether Elrond's jounal is still with him...

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Sure thing guys.  I've added you to the list.  It'll be a while though.  Elrond's making his way through Europe first.

I can't believe it was 2005 that he started the trip!

By the way, has anyone heard from Dave (Axe99) at all recently?  He has some of Elrond's pics.

If I was not afraid of loosing mails I would happily be Elrond's Host for a while but I fear it may grow lost sad

It would have been rather cool to have gotten it in Ireland and then brought it to Canada and sent it on. Elrond could have had a plane journey too!

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Well, well, well. I just want to say that Elrond left my home some days ago, so right now he must be spending some time with Fadrion in north Spain. Of course, he still has got his diary.

I do have some pictures of him, but as everyone has experienced it is hard to focus both Elrond and the rest (me, landscape...)

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Hi everybody!

Traveling Elrong arrived at Basque Country.

And the same day that I pick up him at the post office (April 4th), my second daughter, Olatz, was born.
Now I am a little busy, but I hope to have some time next week to guide Master Elrond by Bilbao and the country.
At the moment, he is comfortable with my collection.

Regards,
Felipe.
