THRANDUIL (M234)

It's my "Hobbit-Month" on my blog, and after RADAGAST, I want to show some figures of "The Hobbit"'s characters.
I've started with THRANDUIL, the Elven King:

Nice painting work Sam.
Well, I disagree with Master Thingol about color choice which I do not find "forest looking" enough.
but Thingol is much more elven kind than I do, and I have never been to mirkwood....so I guess I am wrong about elvish forest dressings. lol

I tend to agree with Milo on the colors that are not too "forest". But, in fact, they are beautiful and blend well together.
Good painting job Master SAM winktongue

Re: THRANDUIL (M234)

many thanks Masters and Mistress!
In fact for my choice of colours, I was thinking first to work with green, but I prefer work with blue! tongue
no, seriously (even if this is true!), it's how I think he could be dressed when he's in his palace, green is for when he's in the woods, hunting or wandering ....

Generally, I'm very free with "accurate colours": paint is a pleasure, not and historical work for me!smile
and is it so important ? when I see the P.J. work I think that I'm allowed to be free too!
