Battle of 5 Armies

Dear friends and foes of Mithril

With the last Hobbit movie in sight, I wondered how the Battle of Five Armies would look like with Mithril figures. I tried out and took some pictures. I started with the Wood Elves travelling through the forest. Hope you enjoy.

Re: Battle of 5 Armies

Thanks for your comments ! Here are the Dwarves of Dain. Well, it's not the mass of 500 figures, we will have to do with less.
The last dwarf has some trouble with keeping up with his comrades...

Re: Battle of 5 Armies

The rock scenery is a piece made by Barzso Playsets (USA). It came with the Last of the Mohicans playset, that I bought in 1998 (my first online purchase). Also the bushy scenery pieces in the Elf pictures are from Barzso.

Re: Battle of 5 Armies

I checked, Barzso does not make that set anymore, also could not find one on ebay. If you take a few more pictures of it, I may try to make something like it myself.

Re: Battle of 5 Armies

Yeah, I was thinking : why should all these orcs be green ? Let's try something different, so I decided to try some yellow...

Re: Battle of 5 Armies

These scenery pieces were bought from eBay, a Polish seller I think.
Now we have the confrontation between Elves and Dwarves !
