Re: Mithril Painter's League 01

I've posted my bearded miniature out of contest (because it's not Mithril's and I started it long ago before the ontest started) in my thread.

Hope you like it!

Master Archer and Master Barliman, I think you're right about Erkebrand being the only one with a red shield (same as Théoden was the only one with a golden one).

Re: Mithril Painter's League 01

Balrog done (so am I lol ). Like Master Turambar, I await some good light.

I had to change the base from what I intended, but am using this exercise as a test run for the (winged) version at Khazad Dum [the Bridge].

Re: Mithril Painter's League 01

I lack materials as diorama is getting bigger...not sure I will manage to find everything for sunday. Another good challenge ahead, with good light in time also.

Re: Mithril Painter's League 01

Hi guys
I’m not sure if I will have the time to log in the coming days, so I will send in my entrance for the leage no 1 now : M27 – A King of Man (I have not decided yet which realm, but I like Cardolan). Sadly I’m not very happy with the result, I think I have done better jobs in the past, but from experience I know that if I begin with attouchments, mostly I make things worse, so this will have to be it! Please take a look.

Re: Mithril Painter's League 01

Very nice colour scheme. I specially like the tunic with the golden border.

Re: Mithril Painter's League 01

Thanks for being so prompt in showing your work master gerold. As I am part of the challenge, I will not put any comments yet. I prefer to wait until everyone has submitted his pics.wink

On my side, diorama building is achieved. Now comes the time to add colors and details.smile

You should hurry up, Master Dave . . .

So this is my entry: a conversion of Broggha Hilmen Chieftain.

Very nice works! It's a good thing I can't vote because I'd had a hard time chosing my favourite.
