Balin in Moria

Friends and foes of Mithril !

Those who do not like big battle scenes with only painted Mithril figures, leave this topic immediately!

The others may watch this if they like smile

I have tried to replay the Balin in Moria story in 5 chapters. This is chapter 1 : Conquest of Moria!
Hope you all enjoy the pictures...

Balin and his army of Dwarves have intruded the Mines of Moria. It doesn't take long before they are attacked by hordes of Hithaeglir Orcs and trolls. Thanks to their disciplined tactics, they can repulse the attacks.

Re: Balin in Moria

An excellent 'pictorial' illustration of the last days of Balin's rule in Moria.

I notice some of the shields have some nice designs - are they painted or prints?

Re: Balin in Moria

All figures you can see in these pictures, including the original Mithril shields, are painted by my hand. I also made the chamber of Mazarbul, with nothing but cardboard.

But concerning the 'non-Mithril' shields, I must confess : they are prints...
