The 'Pony' refurbished

I hope the reg’lars hereabouts don’t mind, but I decided to give our favourite ‘watering-hole’ a bit of a refurbishment.
The floor is from Table Top World as is the back walls, but these are taken from a spare castle wall section. The figures were previously painted, but this time given a coat of Army Painter Quickshade and then a coat of GW spray sealant.

That's really excellent, Master Ddaines. Wonderful atmosphere there and a really great choice of colours and details. Respect.
I just wish the pics were a bit larger so that I could also see the Man in the Dark somewhere.

Where there is a will there is a way, just as there are no problems, only solutions! Guess it depends on ones own perspective of the matter at that time big_smile

Very impressed! As Master Theobold stated your color choices really enhance the atmosphere of the entire scene. Bravo!!

I wish that as well. Is it a limitation of the software that runs these fine boards?

Thank you all, I thought it was time to brush the Warg-skin rugs and rearrange the furniture wink If you can't access the Gallery I'll add a couple of the other images here.

Re: The 'Pony' refurbished

huoooom ... so there's the Man in the Dark now  -  and overwhelming details and furniture added - and skill to paint all that accordingly - the place for the "Dark Corner" of our dear friend is well-chosen, meseems ...
David, er, please, no trees in the Pony, that's non-canonical ...as Tolkien never mentioned them inside there.

Thank you so much for posting that! I really enjoyed seeing you Master Daines but my eyes were of course on your most excellent diorama. Can't wait to see the other pieces you mentioned. Enjoy that pint... it's well deserved!

David... you should also start telling stories by the lightfire... really nice voice to listen to.

And if I did not understood wrong you were planning to add lighting to the scene!! looking forward to it!

Yes indeed, although the original version was also illuminated that was by electric dolls house lights. As my transformer 'died' I have had to resort to small lights, but hopefully they will do the job.

There will probably be no updates for a couple of months as I am trying to get some stuff ready for a non-Mithril related event, but the aim for this project is to have Aragorn with the Hobbits in their room and the Ringwraith attack on the room wink
