We Westrons have invented just about every ball game in the world, but we can't win at any of them, so the outcome didn't surprise me at all. Well done Croatia. The drinks are on me!

Master Nino,

I'm a little late to the Pony,  but congratulations on Croatia's win, please have a pint or two on me wink. Good luck to the folk of both nations who frequent this establishment on Sunday, sadly only one team will lift the trophy aloft wink

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Ja Mon, But he took some nice pictures overlooking the ocean and fishing. He also visited some legend's home town, museum and burial site-- named Bob Marley. It was here that Elrond partook a little bit of the thing that the Haflings call pipeweed. He enjoyed himself, but decided in the end to stick with wine. ;-)
He also visited the great Redwood Forests of California and trees big enough to hold many thousands of his Elven kindred in splendor.
The next stop is Los Angeles, where I believe he will attend a very special film premier, but we shall see. . .
Then it is off the next host!

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Elrond had a wonderful time in Los Angeles (except for what humans call "traffic") and he met some wonderful people who were amazed that he coud come from a different world to visit them. He visited the set two days in a row of a pilot production as it was being filmed that it is hoped will be picked up by HBO or Netflix and made into a TV Series. Ironically, the name of the show is Dimensional Shift, which might explain how Elrond was able to be on set as an "extra" cast member, having come from a different world. This weekend he will attend a "wrap" party with the crew and cast of the production, I'm sure he will fit in just fine, even with pointy ears--the people in Hollywood are used to others who seem different than them.

After that Elrond may travel to Las Vegas and then a small island in the Caribbean named Dominica, but we shall see. His next host, Gavin in Canada, may want him to move on sooner.

Oh my, that seems to have been a wonderful part of Elrond's travels so far, Master Twrich. But it's good to read that you are well, er both of you that is.

No, not yet.
He is still with me in Minnesota, USA. He has been to Jamaica, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Next he will go in June to the Dominican Republic. Then he will go to the next person on the list. Is that you, Gavin?

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I positively think now, that I won't host Elrond since at least 2021 xD

Gavin, Milo, Imisiel, Mornedhel and Gerold...

Did anyone of the above have hosted Elrond before? because I did once, but it was somewhat like 10 years ago, and I am curious to see everyone's additions to his travelling backpack. Especially his travel diary smile

Do not know if someone has made some kind of a "Save before continuing" (Scanning or making pictures of the parcel contents) but it would be nice to have it here on the forum. I would do it myself when the parcel arrives if no one else does it before.
