Re: The Travelling Elrond

this will be the first time for me too... As I have said before, It will be an absolute pleasure to get it from the hands of Master Milo. Without his incredible help, I could never have completed my collection (obviously not complete, but at least, the non-imposible ones - only short of non-produced warbands and things like that). Thanks again, man!

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Any news from Elrond?
It has been some years since he visited me, and his journey seems to be one of the more epic around. He probably is the widest travelled miniature in existence - or at least the longest...

It's good to see that this topic is a bit live, but I certainly think you should put some photos in the "traveling Elrond" gallery guys.... last pictures in the gallery were posted from me and that was three years ago.... Since than Elrond was in your palce (Axel) than in place of Master Caster and in Tom's home in USA inculding in the Caribbean islands... big_smile
Maybe somewhere elese but I'm not sure... that's reason why we need to see his traveling photos...

Correcting the deviation on "elven years"... I think a more accurate expectation, and considering each one hosts Elrond during at least one year..... it is more factible that I would host him on 2025, than 2021. hahahaha

"During", or "for"?
:-)

Alas my camera of these times got lost, so I am not sure where to find my Elrond pics.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I do have Elrond, but I haven't been able to get ahold of the next person on the list, Dave I believe.
If anyone has the contact information for whoever is next on the list, I'll arrange to Send Elrond on his next adventure. wink

Re: The Travelling Elrond

I'm not sure which Dave it is. I believe there is a list somewhere. But I'm not sure that the next person on the list is still an active member of MMP, or if they want Elrond sent to them.

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Yes, it was Dave Long in Australia as far as I know. Dave was meant to send it on to me in Australia,  just that I'm in Germany at this point in time...🙄

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Well, Holger. Once it was on the list that you should send the Travelling Elrond to Dave ("axe99" from the former "Frumgar team" you might still know about) because in those days you both lived on the same cotinent somewhere down under. But that's quite some time ago by now.

Having had a look again at the latest list by Master Milo (he seems to try to keep track of those travels) I witnessed a slight problem.
Here's Milo's latest list:

Twrich (Minneapolis)
Gavin (Canada)

    ... back to Europe:

Milo (France)
Imisel (Spain)
Mornedhel (Belgium)
Gerold (Belgium)
Maenas (Spain)

Anyone else ?

So, from the USA the next stay should be Canada with Gavin before he crosses the ocean once again (The Elf, not Gavin). The problem is: does anybody have any contact with Gavin any more? Somehow I lost my contact with him many years ago after he moved. Of course I could again try to contact him.

Alas, in the ent mind please that time does not mean much for Elves. They don't even hurry less than trees I think. I have never met an hasty Elf, have you?

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Great we do have you Master Ent. At someone remembers.... We do have new members here on MMP. Maybe someone else would like to host the elf. At the time we are through here in Europe, I'm back in Australia and be happy to host Master Elrond again to show him the east coast of Aus..

Good news!  Dave (Axe99) just sent me a bunch of the Traveling Elrond pics!  I had thought them gone forever...

What should be done with them all Gildor?  Should I email them to you?

In the meantime, some will recognize this lovely pic.  smile

I found this post (back to the 2008th year) I doubt, is this a proof that the Elrond was in Australia, that means we need to update the list... or I'm wrong....

Re: The Travelling Elrond

Dave Long (Axe99) has health issues so doesn't feel able to host Elrond, so if Dave is on the list it is safe to say that certainly for now at least, he can be removed. He seems to recall possibly having had Elrond though, but has no pictures to back this up so cannot confirm wink.

I have Elrond in the US. I don't know who is next after Dave. Is there a current list of who is next?
