Re: THE TAPROOM 4

Passing by to have a "scrumpy on the go" I was just missing that rooted rat-tail taste it has... xD

Hope everyone is doing well! I started to work again this monday.

I painted a mithril during these days of confinement. It is a beorning, and I plan on painting some other mithrils that I have already prepared on the queue. If anyone is interested check my profile on instagram wink

I already have located some of you there, but I would like to have you all. (the ones that are on insta, of coure) Elroi is there also, and from time to time he posts some mithril too. smile

Best wishes for all around, and specially to Mr. Barli and Noob.

Hello Mithril Friends. Well, should anyone pop by please join me at my table for a drink and a smoke. Please wake me up if I am sleeping. :-)
Has anyone seen Barli around? I hope he is well!

Re: THE TAPROOM 4

huooommm ... hm ... sorry, Master Twrich, but I haven't seen nor heard of our dear barkeep for a long time here ... rhûooOm ...
I wish he was here to do his job and giving some nice pointed comments ... alas, and of course uttering his Breeish sayings ... huom ... lately I've seen that he was present on that official Mithril-Board two or three times ... hOmmm ... I don't know why he doesn't care about the Pony any more ... grOoommmm ... of course I also hope that he still is well ... hom ... this is not the good-old Prancing Pony any more without him, is it .... hm

Re: THE TAPROOM 4

Hi Master Twrich, I am here for sharing drink and breakfast. :-)
As Master Theobald, I do not know why our dear friend and bartender does not show here.
I can tell Master Barliman and Mrs are in good health.

Re: THE TAPROOM 4

Master Twrich, I shall enjoy a drink (Guinness wink) with you, but I do not partake of the Pipe-weed. Master Barliman does post on the Mithril website, but haven't seen him here for some time; good to know that he and his Lady are in good health.

I hope you and yours are well in your part of the world, we have a good friend here in our village who hails from your 'neck of the woods'.

Hello. . . . (hello, hello, ello, ello, lo, lo, lo, o, o, o, o)

Wow! There is quite an echo in here lately! Well, I guess I'll help myself to the ale.

Hope all of the Pony patrons are healthy and safe.

Re: THE TAPROOM 4

Hello David! You are the first patron I've seen in the Pony in a long time! I stocked some Guinness for you after your last visit. Come on over to my table in the dark corner and tell me your latest tales.

Customers have drifted away a bit of late Tom, they must be waiting for the Inns to re-open after lockdown neutral. All's well in this corner of the Bree-land as Master Barliman would have said smile.

Many Mithrils on the go at the moment but I was concentrating on some larger stuff for a club competition/meeting now delayed until February 2021 so I have 'dipped' back into Mithrils and will hopefully have a few finished pieces over the next few weeks.

I think a lot of the Mithril Community have been posting on the FB Group rather than here hence it is quieter at the moment and still no sign of Master Barliman hereabouts although he is on the Mithril website.

Hope the family are well and you can start your travels once again smile

Hi David,

I agree it is much active on FB these days. No matter the place, as long as it involves our beloved miniatures.

I got mine too. I was very pleased to see primed miniatures. I think some are really good add-ons.

Just Elrond and Beorn are a bit small/lack of detail. I post the pictures of Old/new in another Inn (FB)

Strange time. It reminds me the Great Plague mood  but without the Plague.

Hi all! I will have a second breakfast... everyone invited smile

I was hoping this won't happen with the new releases... I don't mind them beign smaller, but if the detail is less then I would be dissapointed... such a pity because I was hoping to buy that box a s a checking point for those Zbrush sculpted minis... because I am looking forward making a repaint of the box and then compare my own work to the one I did more than 15 years ago. sad

PS.: Do you mind sharing the pics here too? I deleted my FB account some time ago and I cannot see the pictures you said. Thanks.
