Happy New Year, dear fellows smile May 2021 shatter the dark days of 2020, the same way the passing of the Unique shattered Sauron and Barad Dur altogether.

Oh! It seems that I accomplished five hundred messages on these forums, twelve years after registering. (OMG so long ago!) Let's celebrate this and the new born year too, I'll add my round of drinks to the one that master Cameosis started.
Let's lit a big and nice fire to celebrate the new experiences this year might bring us.
Cheers!

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

Thank you. I hadn't noticed yet that Ar-Phar. had won! I'm very pleased by that. It will be very interesting indeed to see The Man's interpretation of how a High Numenorean of the kingdom's final days might have looked.

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

From Théobald cause wrong way

No, sorry Master Barliman, I'm just dusting a bit around here. I also cleaned my tiny bowl from them spider webs which do not go well with rat-tails in the liquid. Hmm ... I like this help-yourself-service here as nearly all bars and inns, and so are taverns are closed. I was busy all day in the Mathom House here around the next corner. er ... huomm ... corner?
I'll go over to that dark corner now to bring the man there a well-filled pint of beer and a small portion of that weed for his pipe.
Wishing you all the very best, melads and meladies ... rhuôOOmmhumm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

Thank you very much, Dear Ent; and especially for the pipe weed! cool It tastes very good, is it Southfarthing? Well, it has been lonely in the Tap Room lately, but on the bright side, I've caught up on my naps in my dark corner! So it is especially nice that some friends stop by from time to time for a swig and a puff. And thank you Fabrice for contributing so many wonderful images and your contributions to our group. Take care all, Spring is coming!!

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

However many further hardships await us, at least we're all still here - well, I hope we are. I just wish I was getting  more painting and modelling done than I am. It's amazing that the old adage about jobs expanding to fit the time avaiable remains perpetually true!

Keep safe, one and all.

oh, Master Twrich, of course it was the finest Southfarthing I could find in a hurry ... huom ... it's great that you recognized it immediately ... hom

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

The bowl of rotting apples on the bar is the newest scrumpy I have. Or do you want the liquid stuff? It costs extra, but is much nicer.

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

I admire your ill-advised optimism... I'll make sure there's a bucket ready to hand just in case.

Re: THE TAPROOM 5

It's only right that them as fills the bucket should also empty it. Ergo, no additional cost to the customer. If, on 'tother hand, Nob has to empty it, then there obviously has to be a handling (yuk...) charge.
