My work / Thingol

Dear Mithril / MMP friends, this would be my topic for leaving some pictures of my mithril art. Some of them are already in mithril.ie in fan galleries / Ninoslav Luk ( http://www.mithril.ie/FanPaintings/nino … index.html ) and some new pictures I will left on our fan site.

Thanks for any comment and any painting suggestion how to improve my work. New ideas are always welcome, but art is art smile and mithril is really art.

First of them is one of my Isildurs impressions...

the 32mm are painted as nicely as you 54mm figures and also placed in nice scenes.
Well done Master Thingol!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Don´t be afraid, I didn´t become a dog.
It is just for the fantastic work of Master Thingol.
Good stuff, Nino. Especially the natural sorrounding pleases me.
As Master Caster do as well . . .

Re: My work / Thingol

excellent scene... I love the way you use the environment for your figurines to create very realistic dioaramas... and the picture you make out of it.. really great shot smile

Re: My work / Thingol

You are creating very impressing (but also depressing?) scenarios - much better than any movie scene (at least in my eyes).

Re: My work / Thingol

master Thingol with such talent of yours in making dioramas using natural landscape and environement, you deserve a great title of your own.... your "dioramas" are really impressing... mostly because - I think - they use natural environnement that fits the figurines, you do not build "environment around the figurines" you put the figurines in an "real and already existing environement" that's simply awesome!

now what title could we give you to reflect that? smile

Re: My work / Thingol

I've discovered these late, but what fantastic work, Mt Gundabad is very impressive scene - it realy looks like a 'working' mine.

It's also good to see that I'm not the only one making use of real spider webs (although have gone a step further and used the spider as well by the look of it) big_smile

Re: My work / Thingol

Very tempting to come and visit grandma's Midlle-earth garden and see all your great painted Minis.
You also have a good eyeto see where to place the minis in the garden...

Re: My work / Thingol

Great pictures ... you're a skilled photographer placing your nice figures in wonderful surroundings but still keeping the focus on the miniatures.
