Re: My work / Thingol

Wonderful!!!  These dwarves are stupendous!

Between you with your beautiful natural surroundings and Christoph with his watercolors and dioramas - you are doing this community proud.  big_smile

Really nice eye-candy!

Re: My work / Thingol

You also have "the eye" for photographs – figures and nature blend in a very harmonic way, nearly every perspective looks like shot from a movie – or perhaps more precise, the ("one and only true") reality ...

George...this guy is  M239 Orodreth of Nargothrond  from The Black Sword edition... try to attempt to convince this man that you sell it separately. One of his figures is M239

Lovely photos! They have a "Tolkienian" feeling.

Re: My work / Thingol

A great take on the Death of Boromir using the 'action' pose Boromir to tell that part of the story. All the figures are fantastic Thingol.

As ever, your painting skills are enhanced by Grandma's garden - shouldn't we have a photo of Grandma? big_smile

Re: My work / Thingol

Yes, Nino, I only can follow what Master David Daines told before. I really like this way of "telling a story" with different miniature-poses of the same character.
Good idea! And this Beorn is magnificent!

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.
