Re: Tell me of your characters, oh regulars of the Prancing Pony!

Well, my name is Boirin the Smith! big_smile

I am a dwarf that is retired from adventuring and am the local blacksmith here in Bree.

I provide all of the weapons, armor, horseshoes, and many other metal items to the locals.

I am from the Iron Hills originally, but have decided to settle here in Bree because it is quiet and peaceful.

If you need more I will think of some other things to put. wink

I'm a garrulous, balding, moustached, robust (or is that rotund? I can never remember) imbiber of rare beverages. But then, you knew that.

I know Master Barliman I know.
There is a lot of work in "Mithril Barliman", but I'm sure I sort something out, especially after your comment.  wink

Ahem, Wendy, what or who are you?
Are we staying with the Hobbit? Someone has to cook for the visitors of the Pony. I wouldn't leave that up to Master Barliman. tongue Give me a hint please!

I guess I shall be Iris Proudneck, formerly of Longbottom, cook at the Pony.  That one lively hobbit dancing on the table was lucky he didn't get a whack on the head with my wooden spoon!  Almost knocked the food off, he did!

Re: Tell me of your characters, oh regulars of the Prancing Pony!

A voice from (one of) the dark corner says: "I am named Voraliv by those of Rivendale. Around the Pony I'm perfectly happy to be refered to as 'the man in the dark,' or 'that ranger.' My real name I do not reveal, as names give power to those who can command them. As you all know, I travel far and wide, drink ale, and smoke a pipe."

I am attired in worn but sturdy travel gear, mostly light leather, but with tough boots and hardened leather armor under my hooded elven cloak. A sword in scabard hangs from my many-pouched belt, but any other weapons I might have are concealed. Whether travelling or not, I often am found reading an ancient book of lore.

Good food is always welcome in the Pony.
Just don't mess with Iris otherwise you gotta get introduced to the spoon!
