Re: The Taproom

You should make time, Master Tree. It's good occupational therapy (so I've heard...).

Re: The Taproom

Huooommm ... to be honest about time, Master Barliman, I surely cannot make it - just take it ... huoommm ... sometimes ... huooomm ...
Hoomm ... but as for another matter, why not have a bowl together on the now 200th page of the Pony? ... huoomm ... "have" I said, not "share" ... huoommm ... I think it's a very good reason to have a drink on that, don't you think so? .... huoooooooooooommmm ... hom

Re: The Taproom

All it actually means is that we all talk too much, but what the hell, Archy (as Mehitabel would have said), it's as good an excuse as any to enjoy a draught of ale!

Re: The Taproom

Well, I guess I am the only one now. It takes me a long time just to travel all the way up here and have a nice drink, but no one here to enjoy it with.hmm

Re: The Taproom

A drink if you please Master Barliman, and please ring the bell for any other patrons - the Unexpected Party is just about complete and photos posted in the Gallery of Master Samwise, so a small celebration is in order. If there are no regulars about keep the drink in the 'barrel' until they turn up wink

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.

Yes, very nice, Master Dave, but weren't you supposed to be repainting the Taproom walls?

I didn't plan to pay him, Master Tree. It's a way of working off his bar tab.

It's what comes of not providing any coiny things in exchange for your drinks.

Re: The Taproom

Hey now, I have woken up finally. How did I end up in the Hall? I usually sleep at my table there in the dark corner. And yes, Master Caster, my ribs are sore where you must have stumbled over me!!! Perhaps I was sleepwalking  ;-)

And yes, Milo, page 200 is amazing!!!

Re: The Taproom

Ha, not from head to toe, Master Caster, but it seems that I have been kicked more than once lately.  I ended up in the hall with bruises when I know I fell asleep at my table. Maybe I shouldn't mix ale and pipe!! And Barli, you don't have to take the blame for your guests. If it were you that stepped on me I'm sure I'd have awoken given your . . .ah . . .girth.

You're too kind, Master Ranger. Mrs B puts it somewhat differently.
