did you notice the very little horns in a smal plastic bag in the blister quite cute....
oh by the way... I know what disease I caught... seems it's the measles... at my age...quite painful and exhausting

Huooommmm .... that's no good news, Master Gildor ... huoommm ... I also caught them about 10 years ago ... Huom ... that also was being of an age when you never think of ever catching that disease, as it it supposed to be a child-disease ... rhuoommm ... yes, for an adult that can be very painful indeed, I know ... rhuoommm ... I feel with you ... huoommm ... the good news is that you'll not die from it .... huomm, err, sorry, bad joke that was .... huoommm
Huom, yes, those very tiny little horns are very nice indeed ... huommm ... 8 pieces to assemble is quite a lot for a single figure, isn't it? ... hoooo mmm ... but we'll manage ... hom

Huoommm ... couldn't refrain from starting to assemble that Balrog-beast ... huom ... definitely one of the best "single figures" I held in my hands in the past years ... rhuoommm ... perfect ... pose and size, so much energy implied in the pose ... huomm ... very nice base, too ... rhhuuoommm ... magnificent, I'd like to say ... hoooomm ... the horns are a bit tiny for an Ent to assemble though ... huoommm ... very close transformation of the old over-sized Balrog including all details of the "old one" ... huoommm ... so, thanks to The Man from my side ... hom

I did not purchase it yet, but your description makes me envious...

Rhuoommm ... took me about all day to assemble that piece ... rhuom ... it was worth it ... huom ... but ... I nearly used up all of my old metal-glue which once was provided with the old M62-set ... gruuoommm ... I don't like that "green stuff" I have somewhere around here ... hom
... anyway, one of the best "single figures" for years, as I said ... huomm ... and it meets the size of the M-Mithril range far better than the old one ... rhuoom ... hom ... imagining to have that demon being stood up it's by a third higher than the good old Razarac ... huoommm ...
very fine figure indeed that Balrog ... huoommm ... hom ... though it's very hard to assemble ... hommmmm ... at least for me, the tree ... hom

Those boats are fabulous, gentlemen--amazing.
I am sorry to hear of your troubles, Gildor, measles are a serious condition for adults. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Theo I am only now ordering the Balrog--but you give me great hope (as does the picture on the Mithril site).

Have a thought about me!
- no game (I'm on EQ2 too)
- Hubby with measles (bring me a hotwater bottle, bring me water, bath my face, open the window, close it, y'know, that type of thing)
- Baby teething (canines)
Lucky me !
*sobs in a corner*
For D&D, it seems a lot of players that stay with 3.5 went to the Pathfinder system with advanced/easier rules (or so they said, never tried).
Loving to play loyal evil or at least loyal neutral chars, D&D 4 is definatedly not for me (those alignements were removed)

Huoommm ... I do have a thought about you, Mistress Wirilóme ... huom ... I do ... indeed ... rhuuoommm ... being very busy with an ill Elf (" bring me this and bring me that"- "Alas, that doesn't help, try another one, please.") ... rhuoommm ... those Elves are very hard to be cured ... but because of you he'll survive, I'm sure ... rhuommm ... human babies teething, as you put it, also gets very much on one's nerves, as they never really stop crying ... rhuoomm...
errr ... the only thing I could do at the moment is to give you a thought and a feeling ... rhuom ...
so, whenever you're in that "corner" again, take a look outside your window and focus a tree ... ahem, it could be me .... wishing you all the best ... rhuoooouuÛUommm

Went to the herbalist to ask for some stuff for my ill Elf. Now hoping that meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) has some results, along with ravintsara essential oil (Cinnamomum camphora) and plantago syrup...

Huooommm ... as for the Balrog again ... rhuoomm ... took me half a day to spray&prime ... though not finished yet ... huommm ... sculpture at its best ... definitely ... the shadows rhuoommm ... highlighting the prominent parts - though shadowing others ... rhuoomm ...
this is a masterpiece to me ... rhuoommm .... better keep quiet now ... rhuoomm

Rhuoommmm ... Mistress Wirióme ... (sorry I still cannot put those two dots above the 'e') ... rhuoommm ... just ask the Lady of our "Master Caster" about these matters, please ...huoomm
she might be able to help you ... rhuoommm ... you saw me, the tree ? .... rhuuoommmmmgruomm ... strange that is ...

ooops, sorry, I spoke of "dead plants", could be relatives, sorry
Offline
Huoommm ... never mind, as we trees and plants are well aware of the problem of dis-hydration these days... rhuoomm ... so at the moment best is to give that suffering Elf a hug ... rhuoom ...
doing that at least thrice a day will keep him staying alive ... rhuommm ... maybe an extra-hug in the evening would make him recover ... rhuooommm ... I'm sure about that ... huoomm ....

My deepest apologies, Mistress Wirilome! It is just as miserable to care for the sick (with a newborn also), as to be sick.
So then, I am sorry for both of you, and hope Christophe feels better soon--for everyone's sake.

Huuoommm ... I'm always here, Master Milo, though you sometimes might mistake me as a part of the timber around here ... rhuoommm ... then there's the Man in the Dark always watching ... though you can't see him ... huoomm ... it's the shadow behind the smoky clouds ... rhuom ... we do see you and what you're doing in Master Barliman's kitchen ... huommm ... err, what about some garlic and fried mushrooms ... huoomm ... added with scrambled eggs and fresh chives ... hooomm? ... all on slices of roasted toast, of course ... homm ... ahh ... those potatoes have to be fried together with the bacon and onions ... hmmmmm ... just forget the carrots and porc ... rhuoommm ... some dessert (no, dessert I mean) would be fine ... huom ... extra-cold vanilla ice-cream sprayed slightly with raspberry-vinegar ... huom ... yes ... that's it ... hoomm

Hello Master Ent,
OK, I forgot the man behind the cloud again... Garlic I did use but mushroom are not easy to find this season, except deep down in south M.E....
So I finally decided to cook my potatoes as some kind of Garlic potatoes bread.
Onions were to mixed with the eggs to achieve a perfect omelette.
Then, bacon which I think is made of porc (or is it pork?) was just grilled at the end.

Huoomm ... of course bacon is porc, I know ... rhuoomm ... I was just jesting ... huom ... what about my suggestion for the dessert? ... have you ever tried it? ... rhuom? ... okidoke, the good old hot (means heated, not hot) raspberry or cherry-sauce would also meet the vanilla-ice-cream well ... hooommm ... just think about it ... hommmmm

It's cooked.
à table !
And for your dessert proposal, I never found vanilla in Bree unfortunately but it sounds great !

At home, we do eat raspberries in red wine. Just delicious, and it brings joy at home
