Re: The Taproom

Huuoommmm ... concerning keeping my miniatures I have to admit that I have no fixed plan ... huom ... e.g. last weekend I decided to give the new Balrog a larger base about 9 X 9 cm ... huom ... things like that take some time which keeps me from painting ... rhuoommm ... then I have not even managed to spray (prime) all Mithrils and some variants ... alas, all this will keep me busy for many years .... huom

Re: The Taproom

mmh I hope I did not upset anybody on the GF 2nd round vote this month... I just wanted to speak out my ideals and "fights" to convince Mithril that regulars ARE necessary, as it seems , day by day that they don't even take care to hide the fact they consider regulars totally "pointless" at the moment since "everything ranging from common to very special" can and IS achieved through the GF system... so why bother a regular range?

that's their current political position... and it seems I can only agree to this considering the last results smile still I keep true to my own words...

don't take me wrong, I really like the idea of the dorwinion female, as I am certain it will win in the end... but I would have sacrificed it and motionned for it to be released as a regular,at an honest price, rather than the "regular" 30€ mithril will ask for a "wine maid".... that's worth the price of 3 bottles of very good quality wine... for real smile

Re: The Taproom

You are completely right, Master Gildor!
But that sounds to me also like the neverending story . . .  neutral

Re: The Taproom

true enough master turambar, but well I try to keep true to my own words and fights, as mister Edman, mister Tubb and master O'Brian sometimes address me or consider me a spokesman for what collector/customers may want of them or would be ready to do, I have to myself be true to what I said I want ...

as for being a crate of wine.... well, I could indeed find you wines that would cost the price of a MS regular... some "less quality" Lafitte-Rothschild.... but I prefer those old "well conserved" and millesimed Lafitte-Rothschiled from 1962.... I was lucky to drink one three years ago for New Year's Eve... divine... and priceless.... worth a Chr1988 at least....

(not far...)

Re: The Taproom

Ah, I see. Well, I prefer in this case a bottle of Tignanello 2007 from my friend the dorwinion wine seller Marchese Antinori.
Instead of that Dwaw of Waw . . .  wink

I agree with you Gildor.... but as master Turambar says... it is neverending story.....  hmm unfortunately...

I voted for this idea, but after thinking a bit after that, I realized that I was wrong !

Re: The Taproom

You fellows seem to think I stock every sort of beverage ever invented by Man, Dwarf, Hobbit or Elf! - but this is only a small establishment, and I don't have the room. So you'll have to have scrumpy and lump it. (Actually, there are quite a lot of lumps in it already, so that shouldn't be too hard...)

Re: The Taproom

I won't take a scrumpy but a fresh beer from Lossoth would do as it's almost summer here in Toulouse (32°C)

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm .... "knock, knock, knock ... who's there?" ... seems to be a quotation from the Man once born in Stratford upon Avon, Master Thingol  ... rhuomm ... huomm ... that was the Porter saying that in a play called Macbeth, right? ... grruuooommmm ... alas, could also refer to the Man singing knock, knock, knocking on ... rhuoomm ... that lad must be about 70 by now ... huoomm ... anyway, I do really do not have the time at the moment to consider, or even reconsider all of this .... huooooommmm ... cheeriohh ... hom

I am here Master Ent. I've been sorting and packaging LO minis for one hour.

I need a good cup of tea with biscuits now. This is exhausting !

Oh my goodness. A STRONG SCRUMPY please, Master Barliman. With extra rat teeth and other stuff you are about to put inside . . .
The soccer team of my hometown just missed the way into premier league and lost the relegation . . .

Re: The Taproom

My god that's some serious rain out there. gushing like some mad thing.

I've been painting not-Mithrils again: wanted to have a gaming army I could take out, play and put away. Still wish I had Mithril Knights of Dol Amroth, not the plastic  converted Perry Twins sculpted GW ones - though those are a hell of a lot more beautiful than the original Gary Morley figures.

And movement on the movie front as well. And my novel is heading towards its big milestone.

So, all suddenly rather good again here.
