Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

Bad news (or irritating news for me at any rate), final movie has now been put back to a December release mad

I know time passes quicker these days ever since the 'World-clock' was interferred with by the trolls, but just get it on the screen tongue

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

It's hardly surprising - it was more surprising when they said the third movie would be released in August.

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

well seems that Thranduil is overly proud,  Bard a little too timid, and the master of Esgaroth seems to be a cousin of Barliman wink
And Legolas... as always... true to himself

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

Nope, he's not my cousin. Or if he is he's from the rich side of the family, and we don't talk about them.

Nice find, Master Erchamion, as ever.

I highlight these wonderful images of the Black Forest. If they capture well the dark atmosphere of the forest will be wonderful!!!! cool

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

Watched it on DVD about a week ago, and although I enjoyed it immensely at the cinema, I enjoyed it even more this time! An excellent movie - and it's amazing how many more little details you catch second time round that you miss the first time.

The first PJ blog for the second movie must be due soon, I imagine?

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

Believe me, it really is all as mindblowing as that!! I've been to NZ twice since the LOTR movies, and will be going back just as soon as I can muster that much cash again. The most beautiful country in the world. Bar none.

Re: THE HOBBIT MOVIE

Looking good, despite the dire quality of this video! But I'm still not sure I like the Alexander Nevsky-looking Lakemen....their appearance seems somehow culturally wrong, though no more than the Jackson take on Gondorians did I suppose.

This is great, Master Thingol!

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.
