T h e G r e e n R o o m

O.K.- all regular releases has stuck in the waiting loop . . .
Time to make some arrangements and designing processes with stuff that is floating around . . . just dust on the workbench . . .

(Better say: A RESCUE- before the cats (yes there are two) make up their mind in chasing minis instead of moths or mosquitos . . . that already happened mad )

Some time ago there was a suggestion, having somekind of A Green Room . . .
Well, I haven´t got the skills of Master Tubb ( is he a member yet . . . ?) but I have this photoshop-thing . . .

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

This one has been planned since last Christmas time (Master Theobald should remember- he helped me with some photographs to take the right decision).
Fram-one of the best figures ever-unfortunately out of production- thus not cheap- slayed the dragon Scatha.
(Fortunately I was NOT depended on this "seller" from France . . . )

The Council Of Elrond.
There was a discussion on the main board. I liked taht idea soo much, that I increase some of my minis.
Fortunately there were four important minis on ebay during two weeks . . .
And unfortunately there is ONE mini which is NOT original . . .

I am arranging and arranging . . .

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

Well, another thought is to leave that council-idea and follow the concept of just having Master Elrond and beautiful Arwen . . .
on a September afternoon . . . not in Grandma´s garden ( wink ) but in RIVENDELL !

Those pillars look great too, where did you get them from if I'm allowed to ask?

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

That´s a good question . . .
Through the years those pillars show more and more their quality.
And through the years I forgot where I bought them . . . hmm
The material is resin, could be Fenryll . . .

Where is that pic of Master Fram . . . tongue

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

On picture of Fram I've seen familiar figure smile .... it looks like M56....

and other comments

1. finally there is picture of Rivendell diorama... it will be magnificent... pure magic....
2. This group of figures on council of Elrond looks like russian "Duma", and Denethor like premier Putin... just joking smile
3. Whice detail is prof on Galion so you could be sure that he's not original... I'm interesting because of I would like to control my figures I'v bought from famous mr. "D"

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

Master Thingol I'll put up the "fake" topic!smile
The Question is where to put it really? So only members can read it or also guests?
The other thing is if the topic is very detailed, what the intend is, people copying and selling fake Mithril will know also what they have to look for...(not to do)

Sorry Master Archer, this shouldn't be in your great topic.

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

I very much like the start of Rivendell. Every time I see a diorama of yours my fingers start to tingle... but the time shortage is not very helpful in this regard hmm

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

Thank you, Holger.
Do you think the start of Rivendell (so to say Elrond and Arwen) is better than the Council???? Please tell me your oppinion . . .

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

That is easy to say Christoph. At this point in time you cant compare the two. Rivendell is 3 dimensiona already and the council is a two dimensional pic. Of course I like Rivendell more at this time, but I'm also sure that when the council is set up in the way Rivendell is now it will be a lot harder to decide. big_smile

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

Mmmh, that scenery with only Master Elrond and beautiful Arwen seems to be more . . . atmospheric . . . ?! Maybe I should follow Master Thingol´s advice . . .
Well, returning to that dragonslayer . . . I have just taken some pics. It currently looks like this:

Re: T h e G r e e n R o o m

Master Fram - "on the cork" actually - is been involved in a platform which fits "perfectly" in the stone-landscape. Hopefully. roll
It was somekind of ZEN fixing all these little stones on the platform. Ohmmmmmmm !

A perfect example of colour choice can be seen on Master Estel´s facebook thing.

Asolute Spitzenklasse!
One or maybe a few more little things to ponder....roll
It looks like the dragon still got all of his teeth, so where do the ones around Frams neck come from?lol
