Dear Hsf62, you seem to be quite busy this weekend. And also very successful with transforming your ideas into real figures as well. Great it is and I enjoy having a look at those pics (though some of them are a bit small). -
But what for do you need all those conversions of half-orcs and warg-riders? I remember that those half-orcs have always been one of your passions. -
Anyway, just keep on, please.
What do I need wargriders for?
I believe Saruman had some and I don't think he wouldn't have used them at Helms Deep, even if it's not mentioned in the book.
I also don't think all of them got killed by attacking the retreating Rohir. So they will be present at my battle for Helms Deep!

And another one in pieces..
And the finished wulfrider:
Sorry for the small pics and the bad quality, but something doesn't work the way it should....

And mind that the shield you used does not depict Saruman's Orthanc
I knew that was coming! Ok, lets say the shield isn't finished yet...

All great conversions - you work like a surgeon !
Never mind the shield - that last conversion is my favorite, great pose!

Yes Master Gerold, I like it very much too, but I had to fix the shield. Its not for Helms Deep.....
I hope Master Ent is happy now!
The new shield....

I know that this is not my topic... but I'm feel free to post pictures of my conversion figures here on the Master Casters dream factory....
So friends there are 2 Half orcs and one Rohirim (Infantry standard bearer.... after the loosing horse somewhere arround)

Excellent work, Master Thingol. I like all of them, but especially the standard-bearer. Nice choice of colour scheme for the painting too.

Very beautiful work!
Have I ever told you that I love the dark green tones of your painting? As "Dark Age" style ......

Very nicely finished of my friend and its good to see you still got them.
You know my choise, even though the standard bearer is very nice too!
The only thing I don't like that much is the dark background. Maybe try a lighter colour next time when you take pics. The figs and colours will be more visible.
Very well done!

And by the way it's always a pleasure to see your work on this topic!

Thanks master Caster... and next time I will make pictures with lighter background... :-)

I saw these elsewhere on FB. Great work master Thingol.
Like Master Caster, dark background does not help watching at these.

Thanks Master hobbit, I'll have that comment in mind, when I'll take the next photo session with my mithril figures :-)

Very nice modelling and painting. Also, it manages to defy the laws of gravity! - how does the figure avoid falling over backwards?
Offline
He holds firmly the saddle with his knees. Just few seconds after... he will be on his ass on the ground.... firmly grounded in the meadow...

Awesome!!!
Great painting, great idea, but the horse is wrong! It just doesn't look right, sorry! Wrong posture for a rearing horse...
Offline
So, when do you come to my place Master Thingol? I'd like to show you how to convert this horse from a falling into a rearing one!
Offline
Hmm, maybe the intend was to make a falling horse....
It all depends on what you place in front of it!?
Please let me know. I'm curious now, because I can see both options now!
