Re: THE TAPROOM 2

hom ... as for just another matter I would like to say that I think that this year's Christmas figure once again is a marvel in pose, detail and it also arrived in time ... huoomm ... it is such a wonderful figure and therefore fits ecellently into the "new" 32mm-Christmas-Mithril-Figure range ... huoomm rhûom ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

New mithril site is much better then the old one... about colors... yes they are intensive... but still I like those "horrible" combination more the the last one... but I still prefer design reminiscent of old documents, parchment, or antiquities in general... we will see final result...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... so we shouldn't haste, Master Thingol ... what for? ... rhuoomm ... why not simply sit back, raise a bowl on those always-being-busy-people around here ... huomm ... as the time time of year might allow ... rhuuom ... just some more days until I have to be the silent tree .... gruoôuûmmm ... does anyone around here know why that dear barkeep put on those tinselly-things on my twigs this year that early? ..... huomm...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Early? That was hardly early, Master Tree. Nob had been getting impatient for me to put up the decorations for weeks. But then, he's only little, and little people get impatient. I don't suppose he'll get any sleep at all on Xmas Eve.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Firstly, without being hasty, congratulations on the news of two members here (and their good ladies) big_smile, and secondly, regarding the new website it does seem odd that the people who appear by and large to be 'supporting' Mithril cannot easily access the forum that allows them to do so hmm.

I have just seen Gildor's link so haven't tried it yet, but I noticed that Michael hadn't sent out an email/newsletter (or did  miss it) giving us detailed information.

I'm not too fussed about the colour scheme, 'tis a bit bright I suppose, but I do like the stock available updates. As for the rest, did you all have to create a new account?

Anyhow, a Merry Christmas to all and a prosperous New Year, I hope to get to grips with the new gallery section once the festivities are out of the way - just very little time of late neutral

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

not only I did have to create a new account (which means there is absolutly no link to my former orders AND of the autoshipment tag) but the registration process in itself is FAR , VERY FAR from being secure and safe!
how ironic : you need to use email information and captcha to submit to the newsletter (which I did not receive by the way..) but for your own registration, there is no security, no email activation, no captcha submission, no verification... you instantly create an account and this is it, you are connected oO
for an "e-sale" plateform that's quite risky... ANY and EVERY bot can register to the mithril customer pool and from there can simulate ordering, mass ordering, and broke up the whole site by "denial of service"...
I know most of you are unfamiliar with all these speech but... well I think it requires a lot of improvments still

I am optimistic for once,  since there has been no official news about the release (not on facebook, not on the forum, not in email...) that means that the new website skin is not finished but Michael is working hard on it... Making negative feedbacks at the moment woud be irrelevant if the final step of the "migration is not done yet... we should let Michael work and see the final result when he says it is finished smile

huoommm ... that's exactly what I think, Master Gildor, we shouldn't haste ... rhuomm ... especially not haste criticism before a work is completed and a job done ... rhuom ... until then we might relax here for a while ....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

. .  .relaxing. Yes, what a fine idea!

And remember: Master David wishes us a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

I will do the same. Even if other matters will be able to sabotage this! As in the case of Master David.

In these days Christmas wishes are more important for me as an obvious unfinished webside.

So, again: A Merry Christmas.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Like young Sevlag, I too took advantage of the price reduction to buy myself an early Christmas present (MS574, MS579, MS580 & MS585), so I can't complain if Mrs B doesn't buy me anything else! (Though I probably will.)

I shall be taking a rest for a couple of days, so in the meantime may I wish everyone a festive holiday serason, from all in The Prancing Pony.

Don't forget to leave out some Christmas Pudding and Sherry for Santa when he comes down the chimney (or whatever the tradition is in your own corner of the Shire) – Nob will need the snacks to keep him going; he always gets a temporary job as one of Santa's Little Helpers at this time of year! Just make sure you don't leave any other food laying around....

MERRY YULETIDE, and may your weather be better than ours!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Merry (like Pippin said!) Christmas to all of you!

@Master Milo: foie gras and oie?tongue wow! do you have some place for an (always!)  hungry Hobbit? I think that I could find in my cellar an old bottle of Sauternes and maybe an old Red Wine ready to be opened !smile (maybe I will come with one person, and maybe one small young hobbit and ....her.... one ... very small younger hobbit.... roll: that's all, I think...hmm)
What is the dessert, please? (just to know how many place I will need for it.... only ONE dessert, you're sure? maybe it could be not enough for 20 persons ? hmm)

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hello, friends. I hope all you had a good Christmas Eve and Christmas Day smile

Today the postman has visited me with my order-off-12-12-12.

I'm surprised that this package has arrived before the 1997 Christmas Theoden figure. Does anyone who bought it has arrived? roll

Hello, how silence permeates the inn! ....roll
Master Theobald, are you still ´working`? Christmas Eve is over, maybe the innkeeper allows you to give a walk ...
The other day I found a Ent near the Old Forest. He said to be family of you, do you know?

Huuuoooûomrhompom ... ah, Master Erchamion, it's very nice that someone comes along here to this deserted place ... huom ... yes still working I am ... homrhôom ... it's easier now after I got rid of all that tinsels and stuff ... er, but to be honest, there wasn't much to do anyway these days ... huuoooommm ... but as our dear barkeep is not present for a while or two I would like to offer you a free drink ... huuô°°°m ... also because you reminded me of that young sprout you met in the Old Forest ... nice chap, he is indeed ... rhuoommm ... but as all the young ones he seems to be a bit hasty still ... huomrhuom ... let him grow older and a bit wiser ... that will do ... huommm ....
