Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... thank you indeed, Master Antigono_de_cartago, and wishing you as well a Happy New Year ... rhuom ... but what about all these others, strolling around on other threads of The Pony ... huom ... hope someone else finds the way to the tabroom here ... rhuoomm ... and will not be annoyed by some flavour coming from a very dark corner ... huomm ... alright, we cannot haste each and everything, you know ... hoom ... so let's wait a while ... hom ... meanwhile I might decide to dust a bit ... though, there are plenty of cobwebs by now ... rhuôommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huooomm ... I'm sure we can sort that out, gentlemen ... huom ... just a moment please ... alas ... sorry, but it has become a bit brisk here in the well-known Prancing Pony ... huomm ... after I managed to get rid of those things Master Barliman placed around all my branches and twigs ... I had to cope with that cat ... hooo°m ... it insisted on telling me that the barkeep told him have an eye on me ... huooommm ... by now he's outside in the backyard, which was quite a hassle ... rhuomm ... I cannot recall if it was Bob's or Nob's cat ... hmmm omm ... that doesn't matter, but I told him to bring back as many mice or rats he can get hold of ... huomm ... need to spice next year's scrumpy downstairs ... huommm ... as Master Barliman does not seem to worry about all these minor matters at the moment ... rhuoûom ... let me think again, just for a moment, please ... huooooouum ... fine
.... ? fine? alright, let's get going, please
Master Milo, would you please lay the tables, as I guess that you well know where the cuttlery has to be placed, Master Ddaines meanwhile you should bring up another barrel of that non-sparkeling-honey-coloured-liquid up from downstairs, please ... huom... then we need ?  ... rhuommm ... to feed ....alas, Master Milo, would you mind helping out Nob in the kitchen, please ...
huuommm ... see, once you relax for about three days, you realize that the world has come down to you again (and it's quite massive, by the way) ... grrû0oomm0mmm ... I am in need of help here ... huomm ... all I want is to cheer together with you this 2013-thing ... hoomm ... I would like to see this place filled with people who enjoyed being in The Pony for quite a while, or even some or many years ...rhûomm ... though, to be honest, Master Barliman will charge you for anything ... huomm ... that's why I thought that it's better to let everyone contribute just a bit ... huomm ... a pic, a drink, a cheer, whatever you like .... huom ... help me out, please .... rhuoomm ... but don't haste, please ... hooooôu^mm ....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoomm ... so that "gateau à la broche" seems to be something to eat, right? ... rhuoomm ... from the second picture I first guessed it might be a kind of decoration ... huoomm .... anyway, it looks nice ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Everyone on MMP is welcomed to taste it !

The best Chef in Pyrénées (so in the World ?) for this kind of cake leaves 3km from my wife's family, so we often visit him. tongue
For instance, I bought another one yesterday for 2013 new year's eve : 2.5Kg weighted, enough for 22 people + 7 kids roll

Here is the chef's web site if you need more info: http://www.lepicbigourdan.com/

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Sorry- french people!
But I prefer that kuign-amann. As the people in my beloved Breize serve it.

As for Christmas presents: there as a very old honey-coloured-ISLAY-liquid-whatever for me under the TREE!

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Oh yes, I think we need a large barrel to swallow this cake winktongue

Look at what my son received for Christmas. He is passionate about lego (besides his list to Santa Claus contained only lego) but he didn't know the collection dedicated to film The Hobbit. I had a hard time to find these box, but what a joy when my son opened his gift and found this house. He was speechless and I extremely happy to his joy big_smilewink
