Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoooommmm ... it's good to learn that Master Milo is ordering a breakfast again .... rhuom ... I hope he wants a "real" breakfast, not that porridge-one ... hoomm ... some scrumbled eggs along with the bacon and beans supported by fried mushrooms and tomatoes that go well with the black pudding and small sausages ... and yes, a nice cup of darjeeling and some jam for the toast... huomm ... huoommm ... why is it that I have become hungry now? ... hmm ...

. . . you have forgotten to mentioned this melting butter on a still-a-little-bit-warm-toast, Master Tree !

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

ah, yes, indeed I forgot to mention ... huommm ... then I also forgot to mention the marmalade and the fresh orange juice before one starts a fully-fried-breahkfast ... but we all know that ... huomm ... er, I have to correct myself ... sorry ... I rather prefer the fried black pudding they use to serve north of Bree instead instead of those tiny-greasy-sausages ... huomm ... but ...
I just hope that Master Milo's teeth will be able to bite all of that .... rhuom .... mind, it has become late and still Beorn is downstairs trying to find out about how better to save a roof from stormy winds and weather, slate or shingles he told me before he went ... huom ... anyway ... I just hope he does not come up this night in his second form ... my cat doesn't like bears at all ...huoommm ....

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

We don't get bears in Bree....beers yes, but nor bears. Do you have bears in your part of the woods, Master Tree? Haven't had them round here for about a thousand years - which I suspect is probably a good thing.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... get? ... no, for sure there are no bears in the Teutoburger Wald any more ... huomm ... at least none that I know of ... huom ... sorry, but I cannot remember the last thousand years exactly ... rhûom ... as my memory is like a lumber-room ... hoomm ... as for Hajopai (the cat) he's  neither interested in bears nor beers ... huommm ... some racoons have arrived here from the south within the last years... huom ... though those are no bears ... huommm ... that's all I know, as Hajopai is less talkative than I am ... hom

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... I'm always here - just look up a bit, Master Thingol ... rhûom ... calm down a bit, please ... hoommm ... as I share your anger you mentioned elswhere ... hom ... quite correctly, I'd say ... as for the birdy-things I'd better refuse to taste or rather eat them ... hoomhuôm ... though I would not hesitate to join in with a ... er, mug,you said? ... bowl of beer ... huom
let's just have some fun and enjoy ... huommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Hey . .  What? Er, dreaming? yes, yes, Master Tree, I was dreaming--of WARM WEATHER!! It was -23c this morning where I am, and I am happy to sit in my dark corner of the Pony, by the fireplace, smoking my pipe . . . . and dreaming!

But now that I have been disturbed from my revelry, I will buy a round of drinks for any who pass through! Here are a few coiny things, Master Barkeep!

Minus 23°? Well, if you were a monkey the brass bits would have fallen off, I imagine!
