Very talkative here inside your inn, MAster Barli.
There is also a light in that dark corner over there . . .

About the Irish. Let me add something please. I have recognized this evening that they spell that honey-liquid with an "e" before the "y". Funny . . . wink

Hello Master Archer! Come, bring your pipe!

And I will toast you with a glass (small please, Master Barkeep--I still have work to do later today) of that Whisk(e)y!

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Ahh, so much confortable here within these gentle company. I do join you gentlemen- but without that pipe.
I quit that smoky-thingies long time ago. Instead I prefere this golden water, as you call it, Master Mornedhel from the isle of Islay . . .

Liquid smoke- so to say . . .  lol

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Never understood the smoking thing myself (though I pretend to participate, to keep the locals happy). But the golden liquid - ah, yes, that I understand whole-heartedly; though as I've said before, I prefer the variety that comes from Mithril-land.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Barli, I think you should edit the lower case "f" in your title--famous Innkeeper--to be a capital "F" lol

After all, and though some may not know, you are "Famous!"

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I've more often been referred to as "infamous", which is far more accurate.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

huoommm ... that's the way I like it around here ... rhuom ... Master Barliman, it really is a bit difficult to grasp each and everything, it's not a matter of the age of brains ... rhuom ... sorry to have confused you ... hom ... seems to be my fault ... but, er, as you know trees don't get along well with the Breeish tongue, though they try hard ... huuoomm .... alas, what was it you asked? ... rhûoommm ... yes, I recall ... er, that ship-king is mounted ... don't ask me why, as it was not my decision ... rhuom ... but I'm really looking forward to see him released ... huom ... I would rather have had him standing angrily with a cat at his feet to match with the wonderful Berúthien vignette ... huoommm ... that one is sold out by now, isn't it .... huom ... anyway I'm sure The Man was right making that decision ... huoommm rhûom ...I do hope this, what I just said, might offer you a sufficient answer ... rhuommtidomm ...
...huom...er, Master Twrich, no casting problems I know of, no variant ... huoommm ... I think casting has not even begun yet ... rhuom ... don't ask me why ... hooommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

No casting has begun yet because we're talking about Mithril - what other reason is needed?

As for Falastur, yes, I like your idea of him on foot, but it will also be nice to see him mounted - we get so few mounted figures! Far too few (I'm still waiting for a "mounted" month so that I can suggest Elfhem for about the fiftieth time....)

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

....er, lack of lead?
huoomm ... indeed, few mounted figures there have been in the last years or so ... huom ... but mind please, Master Barliman, that the April-13-winner-figure was restricted to be not mounted or having any details at the base, etc. ... rhuoomm ... I don't know why The Man decided to give Tarannon a mount ... huom ... though I do appreciate that very much ... rhuuhûomm ...
with that choice he clearly did not stick to the rules announced by the Company ... rhuommm ... but it was his choice to do so ...
huoommm ... I once wasvery much surprised to see a Gondorian spearman added to a camel-rider as a seperate figure ... huoomm ... that's what I like ... rhuom ... surprises, you might call it in Bree ... huom ...
well then ... huomm ... the problem with music also seems to be settled by now at last ... rhuoôm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Last year was poor for releasing figures from mithril side... and from PD side too.... bad for collection good for money savings... actually it is time for new figures ! Many figures... lack of lead... without doubt, in the new figures, does not lead it all... only a lightweight poor quality metal.

If you mean, Phaeton by PD, I would say we got great figures in 2013 especially "the Destroyer"

Master Brewer, I will share happily a full breakfast with anyone present. I glimpse our Hobbit already at a table.
