Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... Gentlemen, I do really not want to disturb your very serious talks ... huoomm ...
but this very place is a pub ... gruuoohhmmrhuomm ... nicely being re-decorated several times within the last 10 years or so ... huomm ... you know ...
I don't mind having people sitting around here, that's what the place was meant for ... rhuoommm ... but could you please pass on some orders? ... huom ... mind that there's no discount on anything you order and any criticism about the quality of the perfect and tasty scrumpy will have you a lawyer reacting to that offence ... rhuoommm ... yes, of course, first you pay with them coiny things, then you will be served very kindly in an approximate way ... rhuoomm ... rhuoommmm ... [trying to manage this place in the absence of the barkeep] ...
alas ... it's a hard job for an old tree, which is me in Bree for free ..... rhuoommm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommmm ... so I must have done something wrong ... huoomm ... no one around here any more after what I said last ... errr .... keeps me worrying ... rhuooommmhuom ... all day I have to think of Master Barliman's reaction when he returns and sees that his Pony was run down because of me, the tree, after he left me in charge of this place .... rhuooommm ... alas ... I'm afraid he might take his axe and regard me as firewood ... rhuomm ... so, what can I do? ... run away quickly and hide outside Bree? ... hooommm ... even Bob's cat and Nob look at me as if ... you know? ... rhûomdomhom ... I also better leave before it's too late ... hom

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huom ... ah, thank you, lads for supporting an old tree in Bree ... rhuoomm ... I guess the Man in the Dark also was present all the time ... rhuoommm ... not being very talkative over there in his hangout, but mind that I witness him because of the slight scent being sent from his pipe ... huommm ...
Rhuommm ... Master Hsf62, what do you mean? ... to "loose" one's wisdom is different from to "lose" it, as far as I know .... rhuoommm ... anyway .... so I would like to say that the three of you can have a drink for free .... huoommm .... that's me ... huommmmmm ...

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Off the ale??!!
So, Master Barliman is gone, Nob is sunken somewhere and the Tree won´t offers the drinks we need . . .
he regards himself in that mirror . . .  mmmmmmhhhhhhh.

Better for me to leave this place for quiet a while. I go out into direction south and try to find Master Barliman somewhere there.
So I hope I won´t miss too many important things here . . .
Be brave, fellows . . .

PS: Master Forest Warden, the two figures out of the attic reached me today and put a smile upon my face . . .
(isn´t that Coldplay?! Oh just add this band on my "holiday-playlist" before leaving . . . )

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommmm ... the confusion simply is because of the fact that Master Barliman went north and Master Turambar is about to leave towards the south ... rhuoommm ... as for me, I've always been here lately ... huoommm ... it were most of the others who were absent ... huom

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Huoommm ... alas, you said ale, Master Quendil, right? ... huoomm ... though I really can recommend some very-fine-tasty Scrumpy, which is a special brew you just find in this Pony ... huommm ... see I'm just in charge of the Pony as Master Barliman once again decided to take one of his holiday-things ... rhuoommm .... anyway it will please him that your're willing to pay for them ales freely with them coiny things ... he's not used to it ... rhuoommm ... so, ale that is, Master Quendil, right?
... rhuoommm .... no problem at all ... I'll have to find Nob somewhere to have Master Milo's three breakfeasts being prepared in time for tomorrow ... rhuoomm ... at the moment I'm a bit busy trying to sort all them bar tabs in a order from A to Z ... rhuoomm ... hard work that is indeed ... rhhoooûommtidoommm ... it's a mess when ever the barkeep is away and leaves me in charge of these very fine premises ... rhuoommm ... hard work indeed ... huoom ...
So here they are , Master Quendil... 73 ales ... huom ... I hope I got it right ... H°U°U°Uomm ...
.... rhuom? ... err ... right, it's my 3400th entry, so I feel free to add a wee dram of spicy-scrumpy thing going with every beer you take ... rhuommm ...

cheers, ladies and gents ... I hope you keep on

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Yes, seen before, but it is still great to see once more to inspire the creative juices - I think some elements would be more how I imagine the streets of Minas Tirith rather than Bree, but a great piece.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

Does anyone know who this ebay buyer (senimus) is? I ask because he buys a lot of mithril figures off of ebay.

For instance he won the large Rohan lot that was on ebay a few days ago.

Re: THE TAPROOM 2

I sold several LO to him this summer. His name is wiley, registered on MMP in february (Wiley1).
He helped me a lot in my last collection holes.
This is good news he won this auction as he accepted to provide me several missing weapons I am looking for.

Just send him a PM if you want to do any trade with him.  tongue
