I can't believe he would ask you to do that, or any other GF member for that matter (I believe you saying that he has asked you prove it , I hasten to add). It is a ridiculous thing to ask anyone to have to prove when all one has to do is keep a part out of camera shot and claim it is missing!!!! .

It wasn't that long ago when I was sent a 'spare' Unexpected Party boxed set that I hadn't ordered or paid for -I simply contacted Joan (or Despatch), told them they had made a mistake and sent it back to Mithril - trust should work both ways and Michael should know better .
