Before the Goblins set
And here's the first image of one of the named heroes:
This is Lauriel, the Noldorin singer. Or two versions of her.
As you can see, the primary character image is M448, the Noldo Bard. However, the alternate figure is a repurposed M139 Arwen figure. The M448 figure is not one of my favourites. I love the idea of the figure. Indeed, I've bought about five over the years (MERP PC, Wandering Company character, attendant to the Lady of the Mists diorama, this and something else) but either my paint skills can never do the figure justice, or the figure just isn't worth the grief. The pose is very flat, the finishing isn't great and the face is a disappointment.
No matter, the results were pretty sufficient.
Next up: M305, Alaric the Riverman, Northman Adventurer

Where there is a will there is a way, just as there are no problems, only solutions! Guess it depends on ones own perspective of the matter at that time

Yes it is.
Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.
