Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Certainly is chilly this morning - I've had my winter jerkin on since I got out of bed, and I don't feel warm yet. I'll join you in a whiskey (whisky? we don't sell that feeble stuff here) - but purely for medicinal reasons, you understand.

I see the Master Caster lounging about--join me for an ale and a pipe! Master Barli, here are a few "coiny things" to fill our mugs!

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Rather than filling your mug with coiny things, I'll pour you some scrumpy. I haven't got a mug big enough for the troll so he'll either have to go without or must go down to the cellar and bring up a barrel for himself.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

I would like to order a nice and HOT cup of tea, Master Innkeeper. The typical drink for a summer month like August.
And I suppose, Master Gildor will join . . . ?

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Oh- there will be that standart bearer of those Harad-people around next week.
To be honest: there is a sketch of mine -somewhere from 1996- showing a Harad-standart-bearer in front of a mumakil in the background. It was just an idea . . .

Now- decades later I couldn´t wait to see that "dream come true" and how disappointed I am.
I am nearly ##*+ with those similar poses and WHY do those standart-bearers or carnaut-bearers or what else-bearers wear that ##**+ sword ?????????

(PS: good luck, the standart is very tiny- not to be seen inside the battle . . . )

This is just my humble oppinion.
Maybe that Innkeeper will offer me that hot cup of tea tommorrow . . .

Oh- this is it:

I like the miniature, and I agree with your statements about another similar pose...
Master Barliman, it's been a while since I had breakfast here.
May I request a complete one today ? tongue

I'll take it out into the sun in front of the door and enjoy it there ... huom ... as it feels good to have them old leaves, twigs, boughs and branches being warmed by the sun ... hom

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Something to drink, please ......! I still have not recovered from the shock. I've been a few days off and when I return to my city I find that they are attacking savages Huorns. They devour everything in their path. Please Master Theobald, are you still on vacation? Do you can help us? .......

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Extraordinary quiet in here.
Seems, that everybody is on holiday- except myself . . .
I will change that . . . and will leave southwards . . . and will return with a pocket full of kryptonite---ahem miracles . . .
So long, fellows.

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

Bon voyage Master Archer wink, I have been rather busy of late trying to do some (non-Mithril) figure painting for a forthcoming event so though I have looked in I haven't stopped for long enough to make conversation.

Today the Chicken lady arrived with her two plump 'Chucks' big_smile

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huuooommmm ... er yes, just a short vacation that was for me in between ... rhuôm ... I simply was in need of some sun and the breeze of the sea ... anyway, I didn't miss much around here as far as I can read .... huooommmrhoumuôm ... I don't know about our dear barkeep ... hom ... might still be downstairs counting coiny-things ... rhuom ... creating a new brew? ... huom ... who knows ... huom...

Yes, Master Erchamion, those clearly are Huorns you met ... huôm ... you can always tell by the way they thoroughly chew each and everything on their way ... huom ... though those you met seem to be rather satisfied and don't move much ... rhuôm ... so my advice is just to tell them to stop ... huoommmm ... I think they know that word and then won't move or chew any more for many years to come ... or at least you won't be able to witness it ... rhuoôm ...

Welcome back, Master Ent. I hope you enjoyed the sun and sea breeze!!

Master Barkeep, please pour a big bowl of that clear liquid for our friend . . . and I'll have amber liquid in a mug!

Re: THE TAPROOM 3

huoommm ... now that's a good idea, Master Mornedhel, to take over the service here in your hands for tonight ... rhuômm ... very wise that is, as so I don't have to do this ... hmmm ... so first a large bowl of that aperitif for me, please ... huom ... just to have a start ... rhuommmtidommm ... do I remember well that an aperitf-liquid always means that there's more to come? ... huomm ... some various delicious meals and further fine liquids of the best? ... huom ... never mind those coiny-things, I'm sure Master Barliman will be very patient waiting for tem ....
ah, well, have a nice vacation, Master Mornedhel ... huoooooommmm
