Excellent work! And excellent pictures also ...

Thank you, Master Zoetrop, the best compliment to receive is having a look to your paint-job. Excellent! What I especially like about it is that you pointed out the harness of the horse appropriately as I asked Chris to add details to show that also the horse is of a royal breed.
Thank you for providing the pics here, Zoetrop.
(I wish I had one of those figures myself )

Good idea my brush wielding friend! We make up our own painting competition.

Huoommm .... to be honest, Master Estel, I do not understand your question about another MX and sharing .... sorry. My abilities coping with other languages than Entish are very much limited.

Great painting all - it's great to see the different painting styles and interpretations of a very good figure - nice gilding David .

Why not making a special gallery for Imrahil with all the painted versions of the members in it? Nice to compare different styles like the painting competition.

Hi everyone, these are all excellent Imrahils!
Here is mine. I decided to go with a slightly darker theme.
Hope you enjoy!

Like sir Galahad from a knight of King Arthur's Round Table and one of the three achievers of the Holy Grail in Arthurian legend. Only with different symbols on the flag and shield.
Your Imrahil looks very nice George !!!!

. . . looks a bit like Master Nigel Terry in that Excalibur-film, somewhere in the eighties . . .
By the way: I like this film! And I like your Imrahil, George. And of course your´s as well, Master Thingol.

I loved that film! (Although he may want to "re-think" that Olivia Newton John headband from the 1980's).

you are 100% right my friend.. ouuuuh I like this picture !!!!!!! ... but Galahad was like George's Imrahil on the end of the movie with long hair and beard....especially at the end of the movie when he rides with the sword to the lake shore and he has no strength to throw it.... finaly this movie is one of my favorite... I have seen it 10 times and I always find some more magic in this myth
p.s. 1. This is another confirmation that we like the same little things... master of Mirkwood
p.s. 2. George see your Imrahil is full of inspiration for some of us....

. . . some people are finding new friends here . . .
And George, it is enough to watch the movie at once . . .
It was the right decision becoming a member here . . .

Very nice job George on one of the best figures sculpted by Chris

Do you think so, David?! I am not quiet sure. What is wrong with the horse?!

Christoph - I give up. What is wrong with the horse?

As I said, I am not quiet sure either . . . I think we will have to wait a little time.
I think I have finished my Imrahil to show what I mean. Then we will see- I hope . . .

When I saw the primed photographs of this figure and if you look closely, there is I think a little discrepency regarding the proportion of the hind legs (that was all I could comment on), but visually this is one of my favourites by Chris, and once painted I don't notice anything wrong .
Look forward to seeing your version Christoph - if it follows the standard of what's gone before it will be a fantastic miniature .

No doubt! You have a close look, Mr. David Daines. I knew that. I also noticed this leg-proportion-problem.
Could it be that the legs are a touch too short . . . ?
But there is something else: the neck and the head. There is something that irritates me . . .
Well, my favourite horse is certainly Felarof, the MS460, but have a look at Theodred´s horse: the neck and the head is looking better . . .
I don´t know, this is only scrutinizing (what a word).

Actually looking at Theodred's horse, visually (to me) this looks to be long in the legs and short in the neck and the 'front-end' looks a little bit 'bunched'. maybe the shoulder mass could have been a little bit lower? but still a very nice figure

I'm curious. on the topic of Excalibur. When people in Germany, Croatia, France, Spain, etc watch an English language movie - do you get it with subtitles in your own language? Or do you just listen to it in English?
Just curious.
