Old Man Willow, and Journey to the Cross-Roads

Hope you enjoy these, I had hoped to get a certain 'Party' finished by now plus one or two other bits, but as we go on holiday on Monday I thought I had better start packing and the UP is too good to be rushed!!!.

Anyhow, a couple of scenes that I have long wanted to do illustrating the LotR journey from start to end (but in order of interest, not chronology wink )

First up is Frodo, Sam & Gollum at the Cross Roads (the base needs some final touches and is not quite finished).

I think it's the first time I see the old Man Willow. And it is a real success.
Again, I call you tree's master builder!
I love Tom's colors.

And the cross roads, King's heads are just perfect.
Great work David.coolcoolcool

The crossroads. One of my favourite part in the LOTR. I often imagine this place. But I never thought about- this is to be build as a diorama.
David, you show us better. It IS possible! And in a wonderful kind!
And, yes, as Nino suggested: there has to be more pictures of you in your gallery instead of three. Especially the marvellous Ents, or Annatar fighting on the stairs.
And please: could you change this pink background for the Fangorn/Gandalf-Diorama, please . . . big_smile

Re: Old Man Willow, and Journey to the Cross-Roads

I will try and re-photograph all my paint-ups when I get back from holiday smile (without the pink back-drop of course lol. ). Then I can send the images to Gildor.

Thank you for your comments, I hope it inspires.

Regards,

David

Where there is a will there is a way, just as there are no problems, only solutions! Guess it depends on ones own perspective of the matter at that time big_smile
