Master Jason, you turn yourself into a professional diorama builder !!!! Fantastic.
There is a lot of "space" for forthcoming releases . . . wink Looks good !
But I have to say that the speed of yours seems to be extraterrestrial . . . lol

Re: My Work

Jason - that is really sweet!!  smile  You have a lot of creativity!

I can't wait to see the final product.

For brickwork, you can use a product by Heki.  They make some excellent 6" by 12" sheets of various types of brickwork.

Here is a wargaming "dungeon" I made.  I used the 1mm thick Heki sheets for the brick walls and cobblestone floors.

If you like the texture, they're reasonably priced.  I think about $5 for a few sheets.

Re: My Work

Thanks, George! smile

How did you make the walls to that dungeon? I was not sure what I was going to do for my walls, but I will have to check out the Heki products you mentioned.

Re: My Work

The walls I made with 1/2" thick foamboard - which I cut with a hot wire cutter.  Foamboard is basically a layer of foam sandwiched between paper on the outside layers.

I cut the foamboard to size to make the walls - and then cut to size and glued on the thin Heki sheets.  And I then applied putty between the sheets of Heki to eliminate seams - and then I painted.

Thanks George! I have made some stuff in the past with the foamboard, so I know now.

Re: My Work

Jason - I want to emphasize that I really like your Helms Deep a lot!  It will make for a great place to model your soldiers and also very cool gaming terrain - if you like to game.

Great job!

Re: My Work

Yes, I would like to game, but alas, I don't have anyone around that I can game with. Oh well. If you and Ken decide to game together, let me know how it goes.

Have you got some spare time to paint some "outsiders", so your "insiders" have someone to point their weapons at?roll

Beautiful work for 12 years old kid. It will be greate master of painting if the TV does not assume his childhood... smile so keep it safe. This is for future Mithril generation.
