Re: My work / Thingol

Great work, specially like the scene with Gandalf and the children wink

Nice to see how many Middle Earth places are hiding in that garden

Re: My work / Thingol

Very good battle scene. Can I supose the foothills behind miniatures are the mountainside in the Lonely Mountain?

The environment around works really well here, looks good with the scale and accompany the miniatures in a natural way.
I hope to see more soon.

Re: My work / Thingol

As a miniature painter, I must admit that it´s impossible to compete against mother nature. This picture is pure Middle Earth

Re: My work / Thingol

This is the Ent! My friend! lol
Very dynamic scene, the "lost" Halforcs and the fellowship Ent!

I think you should think over to build a diorama. This scene is lost if you take the minis out of grandma´s  garden . . . and that´s a pity!

Just saw "The Two Towers" on DVD this weekend and I recocnize a very similarity to the Ithilien-scene. That looks very terrific!

Re: My work / Thingol

As always, thank you dear friends... I am a long time thinking about the small dioramas. Especially after I saw the works of Master Turambar....

I have lots of experience with large dioramas. So to me it was a small problem to do. The big problem is that we do not have much space in the apartment.... sad

All these photos are stored in my archives and waiting for their moment to one day be transferred to the dioramas !!!!

Me too!!!!  big_smile  That´s the reason wha my dioramas are "little" dioramas.
To be certain. This is a problem, but, Master Thingol, you know how I solve this . . . cool

There is a concept necessary, without any doubt . . .

Re: My work / Thingol

The space, the main enemy of the miniature painters and scene makers big_smile

As always, your pictures recreates the scenes of tolkien´s world perfectly

Have you ever considered to reunite your pictures in a unique archive (Word, PDF), as a book... and tell different stories by images?

Yes I know dear Master Turambar.. yes I know... But for now I have to exclude these forms of innovation.... in the room area planning.... !
