Re: Ent wives

Thank you so much, David, for providing your pics of Ent-wives. The colours you chose for the body are beautiful.

See, that's what I like here ... having an impression of how differently (not in terms of quality) we see and paint the figures. Look at Kenakko's version, look at ddaines' version ... that's what I like very much ... huoomm ... I should take some time to add some of my pics, too.

Ooopps ... I just saw the new avatar you mentioned, Master Gildor. I think the picture of the Archer is perfectly chosen wink

Re: Ent wives

I Thank e' all for your comments smile, she is a very nice figure when finally painted, I'm not sure why she was abandoned so long ago so near to being finished, still she is done now.

Perhaps I will now re-base the Ents to march on Isengard!

Re: Ent wives

Ahem, this Entwife-thread should not be carried on unless the one, being responsible for installing it right here gives away his views about those nice beings ... right?
So I did not sleep at all last night but rather tried to build a stage where to take pictures of Ents. A simple thought that is, isn't it? ... but I am so much impressed with Master Rita.de's choice of colours and using material from nature that I felt lost. The there's Master Thingol's Grandma's garden ... alas.
Let me please tell you that this I provide is meant as a hommage à Christoph and Luk.
So here's my Entwife ...

Re: Ent wives

Well, it took some time to convince all that lichen to grow properly ... but I couldn't haste them.
As for lichen, I think there's someone around here who travels far to find appropriate stones ... I can understand that very well.
Oh yes, as for the Ent-stage idea ... there also must be me, right?

so here I am with the lady-tree ( on the left, that's me)

Rhuoommm ... I still keep pictures that the lady-tree can do magic. Just let me know if you want to see that - I just don't want to pester this thread with all of my thoughts ...
thoughts ... ah, why not add the 'Falconer' to the scene? ... she might fit well in there, methinks.
Just thoughts, you know.
I hope you enjoyed this ...

I thought about that M30, Master Thingol, but decided against it for now. I think Master Caster is needing him though.hmm

Re: Ent wives

Well Master Thingol, sorry for putting your bid up higher but it seems you where willing to pay more for it then I was willing to pay, if it was the M30 without the standard.
I got the horse and the standard, but no bearer lol. Now you got the rider with horse, but no standard. I guess we need one complete one then we can share the parts. big_smile

Re: Ent wives

Master Ent, I'm sure she is fine with all the other girls, but I have to correct you, because it is a conversion not a variant. Chris didn't hae anything to do with this one.wink

Re: Ent wives

... my dear friend... I hope both of us will complete whole figure in his original look. I have one flag, one bow ( from the sets of weapons that you sent me smile smile smile ) and one shield... so it will be nice conversion... I will put picture on your topic.... and you should not be worried about increasing the price... there are only 5 figures left and than you could send me yours to paint smile
