NO I didn't get the orc archer.
But I still have another drink!

Offline
Sorry to hear that you did not get your archer. I was very surprised to see the final price $44.40 usd. I have two of these archers, I think that I paid $17 for them.
Offline
Master Barliman , please, 4 pints for fellows here today. + 1 for my thirst.
Offline
I expectet the bid to go high.... but not that high lol and as always with a auction from Chris I sleep in my bed at the time the auction ends.
Cheers to my friends!

Offline
Cheers Master Caster !
Offline
Sunday was Fathers Day in the USA, so I had to be visiting with my Father instead of watching the auction.

Having these fathers around hasn´t been a relaxed situation . . .
And: 35,86 Euros for that orcish archer is ''##±" high, although one of the best orcs ever. Master shadyt spent about 17 for him . . .
I think I even less- couple of months ago on Belgian-ebay . . .
Sometimes very strange indeed, this ebay thing !

Nice! To bad its not a little bigger for use with 32m Mithrils in an RPG adventure.

I noticed that they only ship products to New Zealand addresses, I searched ebay for some of these and found nothing.

Well, for a bit more 'in scale' one could try this: http://www.tabletop-world.com/index.php

Ah, it seems some fellows liked the idea of "Gollum biting off Frodo's finger".
I hope fellows who voted for a mithril coat will choose a Baggins again.
May I request some help to win ?
I feel like it is "shire" time

Rhuoommmm .... a very good link, Master Kenakko ... huom ... very good indeed ... hooommm ... I saw that some time ago ... huom ... but who has all the space that all this affords? .... gruuoohuom ... you cannot simply assemble and then forget it being lost in one or two large boxes (as I usually do) ... rhuoommm ... that's a real problem collectors do have ... hoooommm ... space, it is called .... huom ... I do know about such matters .... huom

Sorry, everyone. Was very busy for a bit, and then my computer went on holiday for a few days. At least, I assume it went on holiday. It certainly wsn't working. In fact, none of my electronic communication devices were working at all (not even the primitive thing you talk into), and I was reduced to quill and parchment for a while. Anyway, back now.
Not that I appear to have missed much, happily. The debate regarding the Easterlings has been going on for years, for instance. In fact I took the opportuinty to raise it with The Man when I replied to his latest email the other day, but haven't heard back yet (and probably won't for a while! - he's not the world's fastest responder, as regular correspondents will know...).
In the meantime I've received my latest Fellowship figures - the Gandalf and Eagle vingnette really is absolutely first class. Excellent in every way.
On another note, I was halfway through painting my M509 Gamling the other day when his rather feeble sword snapped off. Bugger. Has anyone else hade this problem? I thought it looked rather weak as soon as I first saw him. There seems to be a generic weakness just above the hilt, and I'd recommend everyone should ewatch out for this.
Master Ken's Croatian web find is certainly impressive - those buildings look wonderful. Though as ever, being kits they'll only look as good as the effort that's put into them. I'm pretty tempted to buy some, despite not having the time to construct them in the foreseeable future. My belief is that it's always best to buy such things when you see them, otherwise they disappear before you ever get round to it, and you kick yourself for ever more! (Take the Thomarillion products, for instance - thank Eru I bought their wonderful Grond while it was available! It's probably a collector's piece now.)
One other thing I have to make my patrons aware of is this:
http://www.wbshop.com/The-Lord-of-the-R … html?cgid=
Needless to say, I've bought one. But I don't think they make one small enough for Nob. Or tha cat.

Barli, be careful not to let any English and German fans in the Pony or it might look like the Ruined Coaching Inn' kit kindly brought to our attention by Master Ken on the Croation web-site
- thanks for that Ken.
On another note I don't read the tabloids (unless we run out of toilet paper
) so I haven't seen the pre-match comments, but I hope that at least the score makes up for the bad feeling stirred up by the UK press. If that is our country's finest [footballers] then I'm an Orc's uncle!! But it should have been 4-2
Well done Germany.

Sorry, I've missed something - is this the sport where 22 headless chickens charge around a small piece of turf pretending they know what they're doing for the sake of national embarrassment?
Don't follow it myself. Which may be just as well, I gather.
