This was the first time to recreate the opening battle where Gondor desperatly stands against the invasion of Mordor's forces. This battle is much more important than the books "lord of the rings" tell us, because the Anduin was a natural border, which to cross was crucial for attacking Gondor. If the crossing of the Anduin would have not succeeded, Saurons armies would have needed to take a long march through the South to invade.
If I would ever have the chance to build this diorama again, many more soldiers would have been fighting as my collection of miniatures and terrain models/ruins has grown until that days.
