Re: The Taproom

Maybe they have had something of your scrumpy- around midnight, when nobody is around !
That made them -simply- speechless . . .

We can assume they're real people as well, as opposed to Robot Orcs.

Re: The Taproom

Bree must be on the other side of the dateline - it isn't midnight here. Maybe it's just Mount Doom darkening the sky again near where you are, Master Holger. I thought the little chap with four fingers was going to do something about that, but it just goes to show that if you want something done properly, you have to do it yourself. Pass me the fire-bucket, Nob....

Ahem, Master Archer, me an orcish being ... you're right I'm not ... but that's easy to sort out if you just have a look at me tree ... hom
Well, Master Barliman, why did you doubt me being speechless ? ... huom ... how could you know?

You're an Ent, therefore you talk. It goes with the territory.

Re: The Taproom

Huuoooommmmm ... thank you, Lady ... it's nice to see all of you around here again ... huom ... I just heard that Narvi and the Elf are on their way to my place ... hom ... so far I just managed to assemble those Eowyn and Hirluin figures ... very nice pieces ... I think there should be more archers from Pinnath Gelin as a regular M-release, like the Lossarnachs ... huooomm

Re: The Taproom

I hope that one day there will be, but right now I'd settle for ANY series of M figures!

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... I feel the same, Master Barliman ... hom ... and ... rhuoommm ... 10 tiny figures per year is less than 12 releases of the GoFe ... homm ... then there won't be any place for a 2010 Christmas figure any more ... or any more free figures concerning the conditions of the Goldie Fellowship ... rhuoommmm ... anyway ... we cannot change that decline, can we? ... huom ...
just for another thought ... The Man did perfectly catch up with his backlag of GoFe-figures, didn't he? ... rhuoomm ... and "in between" having sculpted for many more tiny metal things than there were released ... hoommm ... and that Dwarf-filled-vignette ... hom ... so at least there's someone you can trust in ... rhuuooommm

Re: The Taproom

I really wish he'd issue some thinly-disguised-not-really-LOTR-at-all figures under his own Phaeton banner. That would solve a lot of issues all round.

As would Mithril having the common sense to reissue some of their own older material. That would put an end to at least siome of the piracy that's going on.

Re: The Taproom

Huoommmm ... rhuoommm ... possible steps to take, Master Barliman ... huom ... though I cannot comment on that ... rhuoomm ... us people meeting once and again in a Breeish Public House are not among the ones who have to decide ... rhuomm ... it's like discussing about the weather ... come rain or snow ... huom ... you know ... and, well, to be honest, we have become to be rare species, haven't we? ... hooommmm

Re: The Taproom

Yes . . . we have been a rare species for at least the last 10 years, ever since Mithril went into their own "Dark Age" and didn't make any M Series for a long time, causing retail shops to think they were out of business, or at least not making any more Mithrils. The last time I even saw leftover stock in a store was at least eight years ago, and those were the old blue-boxed figures (they were blue here in the US, perhaps other packaging was used elsewhere).

I have sent the Man an email with an suggestion that I think could help us realize at least one M series per year, if not two. But I want to hear his thoughts first before I present it to our group and the FG boards for comment. No sense getting everyone riled up if he doesn't think it will work.
