You're after free scrumpy, aren't you? Well, you'll just have to go back upstairs and pay like everyone else.

That's interesting. Master Holger's message wasn't here when I replied to Master Archer, but now it has suddenly appeared - very odd!

Hi all!
A very cold beer, please. I've been busy lately (nothing special, home´s things) and I haven´t had much time to enter the Pony. I try to catch up quickly....wink

Welcome back, Master Erchamion, it's good to welcome back an old face. Not that I mean you look old, of course!

I like the picture, by the way Master Holger, but the Pony has three storeys! Perhaps your eyes are just a little unfocused at the moment?

Know what I'm doing?

Editing spell lists for my final-final revision of the ICE HARP inspired miniatures rules.

I want a drink.

Re: The Taproom

So that would bew a Harp lager you want, then? (Do they still make it? Maybe there's one in the cellar. I'll get Master Archer to look for it while he's down there.)

Re: The Taproom

They do still make it. I am not sure I've ever had some.

I'll settle for extra brewed scrumpy - the one with the coffee grinds in with the rats.

Re: The Taproom

Huoommmm ... hello, Master Erchamion, it's nice to see you again around here ... don't haste trying to ketchup with everything here ... huoomm ... it's still the good old place ... though a bit more run down in the meantime ... huoommm ... see, Master Gildor's still working every minute in his spare time to improve things around here, Master Barliman's still providing what he thinks are compliments, Master Gavin's still working hard on them ICE-roleplay-thing-rules, Master Caster has rejoined us, Nob's absent, The Man in the Dark's present though you cannot see him ... etc. etc. pp. .... huom ... see, nothing has changed very much ... except the fact that the doormats have not been cleaned for a while ... rhuoommmm .... hom ....

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... as I just completed assembling that carynx-blowing-musician Dunlending ... huom ... excellent he is ... huom ... it just came to my mind that by now Saruman's guys have become the biggest band in my Mithril-collection-thing ... MS559 fits very well with the LT12 and LT14 ... huom ... together they make up a nice 'command-group' of Dunlendings ... rhuoommm ... then there will be some more new in the "Death to the Strawheads" series to come ... adding the Mw347-boys and all the other old releases of Half-orcs ... hoooommmm ... quite a lot that is, isn't it? ... hom ...

Re: The Taproom

. . . . quite a lot indeed. And still with HD3 to come some time next year, I hope. I'll take an ale, Master Barkeep (although I suspect all along that you've just been serving me a light version of your scrumpy)!!

And hello to all the fine fellows here, it is nice to see this room full.

Yes, as with mine (even though not all my wargame figures are Mithrils). I rather suspect that The Man has a soft spot for both Saruman's lads and the Rohirrim.

Well, it looks like the taproom has more customers this evening than it's seen for a while. Perhaps I should put a new barrel on tap, and ask the Tree if he wouldn't mind giving the wargskin mats a good beating. Got to keep up appearances.

Re: The Taproom

mmhh I just noticed : M8  ....  M170

they could almost be twins except that M170 uses the same model as the M16

Re: The Taproom

I think you're inventing all these people just so you can keep pleading for more ale! Not a chance, Master Caster, till I see someone walk in wearing a badge saying "I'm immatsstephen304". I mean, does that sound like a genuine moniker to anyone here? I'm guessing it's just another Orc robot. In fact I'll eat your hat if it's a real person (it has to be your hat because I don't wear one; alternatively I could eat Nob, I suppose).
