Re: The Taproom

Master Barliman, here are some coins to provide drinks to fellows here today.
I have been working hard on european GNNS project for the past 30 months and it has ended this week.
I wish to celebrate this success with good friends here.
Red wine for me please.
Sheers !

Re: The Taproom

First you have to tell me what a "GNNS project" is. If it's a Satnav system, we don't have such things here in Bree! We don't need them, the place is so small...

Re: The Taproom

You are right master Barliman, GNSS stands for "Global navigation satellite system". I know it is useless in Bree...
OK then, I shall celebrate the beauty of my daughter !
Sheers again ! big_smilelol

Re: The Taproom

What I'd like to see is a Satnav system that directed everyone to the Pony, regardless of where they really wanted to go (a bit like most Sarnav systems...). That way I'd make some money, not least because once they got here and had a drink or two they'd never be able to leave unless they found themselves a designated driver! The more I think about it, the better an idea it becomes...

Re: The Taproom

Let me advice you that being referred in a GNSS database does not prevent you to provide drinks !
Please, some wine, red, good and tanique.
Thanks in advance tongue

Re: The Taproom

Ah, yes, so I see...clearly what this indicates is that you talk too much! But anyway, you don;'t have to part with any coiny things. As you will doubtless recall, you're exempt from such mundane obligations, for past services rendered. But it would be nice to have a new rumour that I haven't heard before. Have you got any?

I notice, by the way, that we have yet another picture of one of the upcoming HM2 figures in the latest newsletter (or is it a Mohican?). So how many is that we've seen now? Four? Or is it five? I can't remember - my memory isn't what it was. Actually, never was what it was, if you see what I mean...

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... ahem ... err .. thank you for being hasty once ... but ... rhuoomm ... for free to me tree and the other regulars ? ... sorry, I forgot to thank you for being that generous ...
huoommm .. and nice words you chose ... huoommm ... though about rumours ... huomm ... to be honest ... mine memory seems to be some kind of lumber-room by now ... gruoommm ... whatever that means .... I forgot ...
Gruoohhmmm , so cheers to you, Master Barliman and to all the others who do not have to pay any coiny-things for the liquids our barkeep serves now.
Thank you all ... and ... huoomm ... cheers ... hom.

Huoommm ... right you are ... hoommrhuoomm ... that's why I prefer that ... ahem ... water you last time served me from the leaked roof ... huomm ... if you do remember ... alas ... rhuomm who was it to fix the roof? ... yes, everybody lazing around here said "There's no ladder at hand at the moment ... and why are we in need of a ladder if there's a tree who needs none to fix that darn-dropping roofy-things ... huommn ... I'd already forgotten about a couple of these, but they're looking good, aren't they? I only hope thet they don't end up ridiculously priced again...

Re: The Taproom

well not only they look cool but they all are original in their poses and movements. that's quite interesting indeed

but before being afraid about their price, I am afraid that those pictures are only here to make us wait, revealing to us pictures of figurines that have been ready for more than one year...
well we have pics now, cool, we are glad... but their release date would be a far more welcome information or "revelation"

Re: The Taproom

Huoommmm ... more than just one year, Master Gildor ... though I wonder why there're no spider webs being seen in the pictures .... rhuoommm ... anyway, if anyone is able to sculpt dynamic Celtic figures ...  it is be The Man ... I'm looking forward to having the "Death to the Strawheads" figures in my hands ... and I'm also interested in news about the 3rd series ... huoommm ... as they do exist ... huom

Re: The Taproom

HD3 is the set I'm looking forward to as well, Master Tree. Partricularly since The Man has never sent me the pictures of it that he's promised me several times! Ho hum. I shall have to learn to be as patient as a Tree, and less hasty. I know what's supposed to be in it, in broad terms, but I know very little as regards specific details. And then, of course, there's HD4... But the way the time is passing, we'll all need the patience of trees before any of them ever get released.

for sure, when HD3 pictures will be revealed, it will have the effect of a bomb on the community, no doubt smile

Re: The Taproom

the HD series looks so much better thant the last gf votings. another troll? yeah! or a balrog uuuhh- wow. no votings for the named character again.

compare the price for a variag archer with the dunlending archer to be released- same type of miniature and presented in one newsletter side by side....

maybe i should delve deep in my mind for the most absurd suggestion, something like the fox visiting sam, frodo and pippin in the shire while sleeping....

please master barliman, i need a short drink and will surely tip.
