Well spoken, Master Thingol !

Re: The Taproom

*opens the door*

Hello guys!
I'am very surprised that news went that fast smile but that 's a good thing.
So, first I'd like to thank you all for the greetings, which were really nice to read!
Ok, so I think I owe you a pint of ale or Guiness, and I'll present myself in a couple of sentences.

As you already know, my name is Christophe, and celtof came from the following two words put together: Celeborn-Christophe (I used to use the nickname Celeborn), and I'm French but I've been living in England for 5 years.

I started my collection of Mithril when I was in high school around 1990, and every four years I'm trying to complete it, but it's a very difficult task. So far something like 7 minis under M83 are still missing in my collection (besides the MS and MX ones), but they are the rarest.. sigh... I'd like to have more time to go back to painting them. Maybe someday :-)

Anyways, I'm glad to have found that place that share the same interest as me in everything related to Tolkien and Mithril :-) I may not be able to log here as often as I'd like though.

Cheers everyone!

Re: The Taproom

Greetings, Master Celtof. Afraid we haven't got any Guiness, only Guinness (they taste very similar, but your eyes focus better after Guiness). Oh, and I'll let you off paying this time - I'm kind that way. Sometimes (OK, not very often, but it has been known. The last time was in 1976, I think it was on a Thursday.)

Re: The Taproom

Seems that Master Celtof is a nice guy! Good to have another Christoph´e here around.
Concerning my last travel I would prefer a half pint of cider, glad about the barkeep´s offer . . .

PS: who came to the idea to use that "rita.de" . . . ?

PS: thanks Nino who sent me the newsletter which I didn´t receive because I spent time in Dol Amroth . . .

My house, my rules, Master Caster. But 'strange'? Maybe. It's what comes of working in the Pony and at a 'real' job (hah...) at the same time.

I also like the news in the newsletter regarding the White Council 'boxed set'. I think I might actually be able to afford it after all!

Re: The Taproom

a MB!! Rejoice!  it is the first MB in quite a while!!!!  and the first MB depicting a real "living diorama" since MB279 "lord of the Nazgul" I think!

I'll try my BEST to promote it in the shops I know...I'll try but we have to remember that without any action from Prince August France, nobody will do anything....

Re: The Taproom

Huuoooommmm ... right, Master Gildor, about remembering the MBs .... huoooommm .... as far as I understood that box might be similar to the latest MX-UP-box which I thought was excellent ... huom ... but we'll see ... rhuooooommmmmmmm ... the floor? ... huom ... let me guess it'll be a flag-stone floor ... huom

Re: The Taproom

well the MX UP box was cool but if it is meant for public release, it will require some design, blister and image on the front... the UP box is unsellable in any retailers, it lacks design for a store but I suppose they simply need to make a colorful and designed white overblister for the blue box and that works

Re: The Taproom

Well, I remember that there was the MB 422 and that shows Smoug triumphanting.
Nevertheless, that White Council box will be THE event of the year, I suppose.

For personal reasons I would like to have a blue box, I am NOT owning the UP still.
But  I WILL own the White Council . . .
