Many Mithril Pages @ Faerylands

Well I think it would be difficult to diminsh the activities here. I am 97% present here because of the existence of discussion threads like rarities, art galleries,
conversions- threads and so on. Exactly this is the reason. Though the peaople are more friendly . . .
There can only be ONE place. If we tear all the fantastic things into the main board (where they DO NOT exist), everything will exist twice,  very simply saying.
Otherwise it is good to have a place "beyond" the official site.
Difficult, as mentioned.
But it is a fact, that the official site needs a refreshment very urgent.
And yes: let´s help mithril! ( . . if mithril WANTS the help . . . )

And a round of drinks for all the Mithril dads.  Followed by hot water bottles and ice packs for your shoulders.    (Try it, it will help some.  )

Huoooommmm ... well indeed I'm already frequenting that German-thread on that Goldie-Board very often to keep up interest of those members who don't dare to pass on thoughts in a foreign language ..... rhuooommmm ... for a long time Master O'Brian was not very much pleased about that, because he couldn't know what we were talking about there .... huooommm ... in the Ent he gave in to that, when I could confirm that everything being talked about there is alright ... huom.

As for those old MMP sites ... good news ... rhuoomm ... somewhere there you'll come across an old tree, which is me .... huoommmm ... Master Gildor, reminding me of that .... huoomm ... did you also find out who was the one asking you how that lost MMP site by Marc (Mithrandir) could be continued and being kept up again? ... huoommmmmmm ... ? ... ??? ... tell it, please ... hom.

I still have this email Theobald about you asking me to host the MMP once the old one died of brutal death... I also remember my private discussions with Marc when I began developping Mithril Faerylands. when he gave me the MMP source codes ofthe old site... to help me create my own database but this was later because I don't think back in 2005 the MMP website did not exist yet, it appears in 2006 I think? can't remember...

Destiny has made it that the projects melted....

I remember about the old MX project of Feanor ... an utopy... by Matt Bates, and Dave Long... and my own animosity against the MX project at first when I faced Matt and opposed the project at first...


Oh and about the Mithril german forum, I'd be curious to know what was said there, it was rather active lately what was it about?

Great news Master Gildor... great news.... congratulations for this small ( or maybe big ) victory for all of us.... but like a Master Turambar says I more than official board spend my time on our MMP... but if you made some more interesting activities there I will be more active there... till than I will only support new ideas for MS and other good ideas... I think that you must for a first steep move your pool for regular M ideas to official board and promote this idea to all members ( there of course )

...every new good move could be strange but only for short time...

I will, as Wendy says with great joy left all my pictures from our gallery to official board... and I think that all of our artists from here would like to do this.

Huoommmm .... in the Ent our dear Elf admitted that it was me, the old tree, who asked him if he could provide and host a new MMP site ... rhuoommm ... he did and started that with a lot of passion and quite a lot of work that can still be witnessed ... gruuoom ... I just wanted to point out that I took some part in that .... huoommm ...
Well, Master Barliman, since then our good old Mithrandir is lost ... huoomm ... though there have been many attempts in the last years to track him ... huoommm ... what about a free bowl of clear-clean-non-sparkeling-honey-coloured-liquid ... ahem, for free, so to say ... huom???

Huoommm ... Marc Campbell never thought of you opposing him ... rhuoommm ... that's what I know ... huooooooommmm ... you simply stepped in his footsteps to provide something like this, Master Gildor ... gruouoomm ... and to be honest ... you did it perfectly and improved Mithrandir's ideas about such a site ... thanks ... huomm ...

Regarding the old MMP and Marc Campbell I have to say that Marc had a M16 with a recast sword as per description on his MMP. Not to long ago a complete collection of Mithrils was sold on Ebay including a M16 with a recast sword. I had written to the seller at the time with the question if this collection was the one from Marc, but never received a answer. Now we can speculate if it was his collection and he lost the interest, or he moved on to "another place" and the people who took over sold his collection.
