Huoommm ... alas, that is a very serious problem, meseems ... huommm ... but mind what the word means ... "insurance" ... right? ... huoommm ... so what they do is to insure ... huomm ... they do, of course ... rhuoomm ... first of all themselves ... errr, which means, they have to insure themselves being insured before any client claims anything ... rhuoommm ... see? ... of course for that they need another company to insure them, in case someone claims ... huom...
etc. --- oh. that's lousy work, Master Barliman ... get's on your nerves and the money you spent for nothing ... hooommm ...
alas, if I do remember well, doesn't that word once have a different prefix, which read "en~" instead of "in~" ... rhuoommm .... right you are, that's not funny at all ... rhuoommm ... though "incidentials" is a nice creation of a word ... huoommm ... I better leave .... hom ...

"Incidentals" isn't an invented word at all, Master Tree.... well, it probably is, like all words ultimately are, but I didn't invent it. Someone else beat me to it by a couple of centuries.

nothing to thank for, I was very convinced getting some more famous dwarves, even if this Thorin III is a mystery (why stonehelm?).
wait for the hobbit movie and you will see so much of the different dwarf culture.
however nice suggestion, Thingol.

Thorin Stonelhelm would go nicely with the King Brand of Dale miniature, methinks.

I hadn't even been paying attention to the voting after I'd made my own choice, but Stonehelm suits me fine. I was never keen on the idea of the"nameless thing" - the single reference by JRRT provided no guidance regarding what he had in mind, and on that basis I'd prefer it to remain nameless.

Huooommmm ... a bit late I am with this ... huom ... nevertheless, congratulations, Master Thingol ... huom ... you had my support .... rhuoommmm .... I placed my comment about that "nameless thing" elsewhere .... I forgot where ... huooomm ... anyway .... cheers ... hom

Huuooommmm ... yes, it is, Master Barliman .... huom ... 20 extra-releases without the antique-finish, as far as I know .... rhuoommm ... alas, Master Barliman, not boring at all standing around here beautifully decorated .... huoommm ... though, I thought being silent is restricted to about one week ... huoommm ... and to be honest, I still don't know when that week will start ... huommm ... keep me informed, please ... hom

First, congatulations to Thingol for the winning Dwarf, which I also supported with my vote.
But . . . I am not so opposed to a "Nameless Thing," should it be suggested again. Although I would much like to hear Chris' ideas of how he might portray it before voting (Grond's sketched version would be fine with me).
And "Nameless Thing" is at least mentioned by Tolkien, where as some of our winners (some of whom I suggested or voted for in the past) are not, for those who prefer canonical figures only.
This time I've suggested two named figures that have been put forth many times, by me and others, Hirgon and Mauhur.

Hirgon is always nice suggestion.... I've also suggest it once... and about Mauhur.... It could be nice sculpting great ugly orc commander....

I wholeheartedly agree.

Ah, so that's what I need to put in your Christmas stocking. Personally I'd prefer a geisha.
