Re: The Taproom

Good morning to everybody in the Pony! I need a drink of hot mead. Lately I'm a little cold. This winter has been very cold in the barrow.
Humm! 20% off? .... I should make an order and who knows! .... Maybe Mithril will send me the MS519 figure I bought in October ....roll

Re: The Taproom

Huooooooommmm ... MS519 .... rhuoommm ... hom ... ? ... to be honest, I don't understand ... rhuommm ... what the heck is it with that figure? I've read about that several times ... huoomm ...problems there are? ...  that thrush is such a nice figure, though being even smaller than Môrlass but also being precisely sculpted ... huom ... the only problem I could think of might be Bard's bow, as one part of it is more than likely to break ... you just need to look closely at the bow and then one part falls off ... rhuoommm ... could have been a problem caused by the spin-mould ... huom ... as I'm not at all familiar with them casting-things, I don't know better about that delay ... rhuoommm ... just a guess, of course .... hooommm ....
but as the Pony is well-known for providing facts and rumours ... huoommm ... the older ones among us might remember ... I have a theory, so to say ... huoomm ... try to remember who suggested that MS437 ... ? ... right ... huoomm ... what happened? ... right ... hom ... so, now, err ... who suggested the MS519? .... huom ... right ... see? there are parallels though it might be coincidences ... rhuoommm ... who knows ... hom
anyway, cheers, Mistress Wendy ...smile

Re: The Taproom

hmmm, do not think the parallels mean anything. (if so, ti would be bad, Wendys suggestions are great!!). I am still waiting for my order and there is no thrush in it. Michaels said, that it is chaotic in the factory after x-mas and the bad winter weather.

Cheers!

Re: The Taproom

The sarcasm is sometimes difficult to express when speaking in a language that it is not native ..... Happened to me many times .....rollhmm

I don´t think the problem comes from the person who suggested the figure ..... The MS519 has a thrush .... and you know ...... the thrush simply has flown.....rollwinktonguebig_smile

Re: The Taproom

Huuooommmm ... me? ... or the thrush? .... gruuoohuoommm ... I have to point out clearly that I do regard Mistress Wendy, "the Shield Maiden", "The slowest painter, ever" the successful winner of prices for Mithril-dioramas as a friend .... rhuoommm .... I'm sure she can confirm this ... huooooooooooommmm ...
As for humour, satire, wit, sarcasm, invective, cynicism or the sardonic I do admit that I'm not that skilled at all .... rhuoommm ... that's why I spend (<- no "t" intended) me Sundie afternoons in this very Pony, cleaning you know what .... huooommm ... anyway ... have to leave right now to place some more pics in that Mathom House, as I forgot about it for a while ... rhuoommm ...

Re: The Taproom

Huoommmm ... finished ... hard work it was, indeed .... rhuoommm ... though it always leaves you with the thought that you might have forgotten something .... huoomm ... you know that kind of feeling, I'm sure .... huoommm ... that's why we trees always say that we cannot haste anything ... rhuoommm ... imagine me sprouting blossoms at this time of year ... huoommm ...
ah, I forgot ... have a look at that Mathom-thing-House where I placed a problem ... sorry ...

Re: The Taproom

I really have to admire an Ent that not only knows what "soliloquy" means, but can actually still spell it correctly after several bowls of, er....water. Have another bowl on the house, Master Tree!

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... err ... thank you, Lady Wendy, for supporting me within these premises ... rhuoomm ... I knew you would ... huoomm I always wanted to see a 'shield-maiden' smiling .... rhuoommm ... as for that bowl, Master Barliman, top it up, please ...

Re: The Taproom

Huoomm ... simply jesting I was ... at least Mistress Wendy understood ... err, she's the only one being allowed to call me Theo, by the way .... huoommm ... or would you greet any tree you meet, saying, Hi, Theo! ... That's rather unbelievable. ... Huoomm just imagine walking along an alley and greeting each tree, saying ... "Hi Theo, how are you?" ... That means a lot of time to be spent, right? ... huoommm ...

Re: The Taproom

They must have been doing some repair work there — in preparation for the new film(s), maybe? — because it was pretty much derelict and overgrown when I saw it two years ago.

Re: The Taproom

Good. I was sorry that the original film company (Newline) allowed it to decay in the first place, but they wouldn't let the landowners do any repairs at all.

Re: The Taproom

I was just looking at the figure M79 Junast's Guard. I then looked to see if they had ever made a figure for the Junast himself.( A hero from Harad or Far Harad) It looks like they have not. Is there any support around here for The Junast as an MS suggestion?
