Re: The Taproom

mmhh this could be a very good idea indeed

which leads me to notice that there is no entry for "the Junast" in the Court of Ardor section... there could be some info indeed

The only thing wrong with anyone's eyesight round here is when they try to read the small print on their bar tabs. Mind you, the scrumpy is probably the cause of their myopia in the first place.

it is called "Mei Kwei Lu Chew", famous alcohol, 52°!  but please not to be given to Hobbits... this is for strong men wink

Re: The Taproom

Ah, Rose Wine (well, rose whisky would be more accurate!) - that sounds like a fair exchange to me, even though I can't read what it says on the label. (I think it says something about only drinking it when you're laying down)

Re: The Taproom

Master Gildor, you can't call this drink strong....
When we where skiing in Austria we where drinking "Stroh Rum" with 80% , that's strong! This stuff makes you grow hair on your tounge.tongue

Is he real, do you think?

And oh yes, I've had Stroh rum back in my wild days. Not to be recommended unless you like hangovers.

Well, she/he was at the same time here online, so I believe she/he is real...
Good stuff this Stroh Rum isn't it. But you have to drink it straight out of the freeser. I wouldn't recommend to drink it warm...hmm

Re: The Taproom

The only drinks that should be ever served warm are tea, coffee, cocoa and variations thereof. All forms of alcoholic beverage taste much better cold.

Re: The Taproom

25% off? Certainly - as long as you have 25% less in your glass too.

Re: The Taproom

I'm afraid so. But then, since you don't pay anything, that means your bowl should actually be empty, if we apply a pro rata basis.

Well, don't be nasty Master Barkeep, the Master tree is the one assisting with everything, so his drink should be for free anyway! (wargskin/christmastree....etc) lollol

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... as for me .... rhuoommm ... clear-clean-non-sparkeling-honey-coloured-watery-liquid seems to be not available for me around here any more ... huoommm ... and, by the by, Master Barliman, I didn't even dared to ask for a free drink in here ... hooommmm ... though I could prove that I was once granted free drinks for my lifetime .... rhuoommm ... I do not complain at all about me bowl being not filled any more ... hoommm!
Try to remember, huoomm .... a very long time ago, then the motto of the Prancing Pony was "facts and rumours", remember that? ... rhuommmmhuommm ... it were those days when you gave away some bowls for either facts or rumours of mine ... hommm ... so, as I have to face an empty bowl here, that means, no drink, no more rumours .... hoom ... right? ... so that includes no rumours about them planned books, of course ... rrhuoommmm ...
