Ususally dentists drive american motorcycles. In Germany, in this case. I suppose in France as well.
I conclude that the dentist´s camera is NO amateur camera . . .

My dentist friend is quite special: He is "gothic", drives a "new beetle" but he has a very professionnal camera to take human's mouths pictures. Even the zoom lens has 4 flashes on it !

This brings up an interesting thought - what would (or wouldn't!) any of my regulars sell, swap or give up in order to keep their minis? Personally I'd sell Nob.

Well, to preserve my beloved minis, I sold every extra minis I had. Fortunately, it was enough this time thanks to dentist skill & the christmas attic treasure !

It's the mug with the straw in it. I've strained the bits of rat out of it, so the straw shouldn't get blocked.

And here I am as well. We've no clear water today, I'm afraid - only the amber-coloured sort.

Re: The Taproom

Hello all, now in my little part of the Eriador we've had 17 inches of snow in 36 hours; time to get the shovel out!!! But first a mug of ale, Master Barkeep, if you please.

A hot toddy would be more practical! Seventeen inches? Seen any little guys in kayaks round there?

Re: The Taproom

I ordered mine more than two weeks ago and they finally turned up today - and I live a lot nearer to Ireland than you do. Mithril are just dragging their feet somewhat. Again.

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... well ... I do not live that close to that Green Island as Master Barliman does ... huom ... though I received them last two releases yesterday .... rhuoomm ... but, ahem, that company we know didn't send me the Aerosol-primer I ordered with the package... though that my order was confirmed before ... rhuoommm ... huuoommm ... well, how to tell ... hooomm ...
I did receive a dozen old leaflets within that small package ... rhuoomm ... very nice they are and the company didn't charge for it ... rhuoommm ... alas ... by now there are only two thoughts left ... huoomm ... one is, the company doesn't understand me ... huoomm ... I think that's not very much probable ... rhuoommmhuom ... second is that my Entish tongue doesn't match theirs ... huoommm ... though I have to witness that they did send me something additionally .... rhuoommm ... that's what keeps my interest in that company ... rhuoomm ... surprises there always are ... huommm ... rhuoommmhuom? ... hom ... yes, defining surprise means to accept to meet the unexpected, right? .... hhmmmmmm ... m? ...

Master Barliman, I'll have a bowl of that very nice clear-clean-watery-honey-coloured-and non-smelling-of-rat-tails-or-any-other-ingrediences-you-usually-like-to spice-the-liquids-with-alas-you-you-know-what .... huoommm ... I'm sure

Re: The Taproom

What were the "old leaflets"? Pages from the old Mithril catalogue -or something even more interesting?

Oh, and here's your bowl of what you asked for.

Re: The Taproom

Wow, no leaflets with my last couple of purchases! Perhaps I've offended the Mithril people by only serving them half-pints last time they were in here (well, they're only used to drinking that feeble Guinness stuff, so I thought I'd better be cautious).

Re: The Taproom

A letter from the Hinterlands arrives at the Pony, adressed to Innkeeper Barliman:

Hello Barli, well to answer your question regarding all of the snow--no, I didn't see any kayakers--sorry. Although I did receive a rather distressed message from Nob . . .  something about you selling him for little metal things?? He told me that if I ever wanted to enjoy ale and weed in my dark corner in the Pony again (without paying my tab) that I'd have to speak up for him.

So . . . Master Barliman--please don't sell Nob (or Bob). We all know they are not good for much, but they wouldn't fare well, I'm afraid, in the service of strangers (if you know what I mean!).

Hang on Nob!!! I'm working my way through the snow to get back to the Pony!
