Re: The Taproom

I do not know songs about elvish artists, but I can sing a friendly one!

"No, this wasn't the raft of the Medusa,
This boat of ours.
Let them tell each other that
Deep in the harbours and ports
It sailed along, taking it easy
On the big duck pond,
And they called it Friends First,
Friends first of all.

Its "fluctuat nec mergitur"
Were not exactly literature,
Begging the pardon of magicians and sorcerers,
Magicians and sorcerers.
The captain and his crew
Were not [bleep bleep bleep],
But mates, as good as you could get,
Best mates first of all.

CHEERS !

Re: The Taproom

What is a Forest Warden doing mucking about with boats? And (ahem), please mend your language a little, Master Warden - I want none of these sea shanty sorts of naughty lyrics in my establishment. Less worldy folk may be present!

Re: The Taproom

I am dissapointed that the Master Archer has forgotten to book the girls from beyond the Sea of Rhun, had I known I would have arranged for a coach full of nurses from Narvik lol !

Congratulation Christoph, a worthy winner indeed and I hope the Director's Cut gets published as well as it really needs to be shown.

Did I see that we get a freebar tab? Or was that just Christoph wink

Just Master Christoph. Nice try, though - just testing how long my memory actually is, weren't you?

Re: The Taproom

Enthusiasm is a fine thing, and always welcome when directed towards our fine hobby and my very fine beverages. The coins are also welcome (kerchink!).

Re: The Taproom

Well, there is need to tell it right:
I will pay for everything this evening!
Barli, it is my bartab which has to be filled up . . .
I started with two bottles of that famous chech beer, at this moment the bottle of red wine is empty . . .
There should be another one.
But not forget: later on we should focus on this bottle of honey-coloured-clear-liquid from an island called Islay . . .
Cheers fellows, let´s enjoy our evening, hicks.

Maybe the magic was the most powerful force in the world. But that was long ago.
The dragons are gone, the giants are dead and the children of the woods are forgotten.

Re: The Taproom

Well, I'm off to paint some minis for an hour before I go to my bed. Whoever leaves last will need to snuff the candles and lock the door, but you can leave the washing up for Nob.

Milo wakes up...laying under the table, with a bottle under his head.
"Where am I ? My goodness, I am hungry."

Anyone here for breakfast ?

Re: The Taproom

thanks guys -- we were lucky here in soka -- i had enough time to grab a towel and storm out the shower ... big_smile

basically, i lost my laptop and my hard drive with *all* my data, that's about it ... so it goes. i'm not complaining though, that's nothing compared to what happened in the other prefectures.

the strongest one was 8.8 -- it's still going on, though -- there are lots of aftershocks.

Re: The Taproom

They say here there is a fire alert in a nuclear centre. It seems dangerous (cooling water for instance)...
