What I said before. Very disappointed that you didn´t take part in, Wendy.
This is the best table I have seen so far!

I love everything Wendy.
The table is perfect. You are the one who chose the proper material on this furniture.
Keep going, slowly...take your time and for sure you'll get a special award at the end !

Did you paint the table, or did you carve it out of marple? Great work!

WOW!! Nice to see that you are working on Mithrils again!

Looking great as expected , agree totally about the table it really looks like it has been carved from some Elven wood, the subtle colours are very well done.

Of course dark wood !
But: if you decide the other chance, it could be fit better with the colour choice of the fantastic table . . .

I think no one yet found the right color for the chairs. But We all trust you to find it, as per table.

I am talking about that I do not agree with the Forest Warden´s statement, that ". . . no one yet found the right color for the chairs . . . "

Master archer, let me here try to be more precise on my opinion about actual chairs painting:
I made a mistake writing about colors. I was more thinking about the wooden aspects.
Chairs are wooden one for sure and I see no streaks nor knots on any chair.
I tried several wood imitiation painting on chairs without big success
My drawing was not successfull, so I removed it and choose 2 brown colors.
On my table also, I am not completely happy with the result.
Basic principle is : (french tutorial: http://www.master194.com/encyclo/bois/index.htm)
Choose which wood to imitate ==> defines the colors palette
Paint first undercoat color using the bright color
Make the streaks and knots drawings
Add brown glazing several times.
