Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... what about a clear-clean-non-sparkeling bowl of water together with a slightly warm croissant with some good marmalade (of course with slim slights of the orange-skin) together with the cold butter from the fridge ... it melts nicely ... then before, some fried bacon with with fried eggs (sunny side up - for American-speaking fellers around here) ... and, of course, a fried tomatoe and more of them fried mushrooms ... rhuoomm ... I forgot the toast to roast ... anyway ... I forgot them beans in tomatoe sauce ... huoomm ... all in time, of course, ...
err ... just considering about a fried Scottish "black pudding" to go together with the white beans in red sauce ... huoommm ... I rather do not use them tiny-and-fried sausages, as they're always a bit hard to digest and do not go well together with the black pudding and doesn't meet the colour of the fruits and the Roquefort well ... huoommm ...

Anyway, huomm ... I just wanted to let you know that an Ent knows how to cook a break-fast ... though I think I forgot the fresh orange-juice to put it first ... huom ... see, that's what haste can do .... rhuoommm ... thank you for reading, gentlemen and lady, thank you very much indeed .... huoom
Ahem, do you think a cooking tree would increase the cooking programmes on TV ? .... huom?

Re: The Taproom

Huoommm ... I simply forgot the coffee and the milk, or creamed tea ... and some home-made fruit-cake ... rhuoomm ... see, I'm still trying ... hoommm

Re: The Taproom

Master Tree, you're living proof of that old adage "if anything's worth saying, it's worth taking a long time to say!" Basically, what you're saying is that you like fried breakfasts.

But as for a "cooking tree", I'd be worried about the proximity of naked flames to well-seasoned wood!

Re: The Taproom

Huoomm ... in the ent you got it right, Master Barliman ... huoomm ... I really do like fried breakfasts alas, as you recently and shortly put it ... huoomm ... ahhh, there's a barkeep understanding trees .... huoommm ... that's rare, isn't it? ...
Huoommm ... that cooking-idea wasn't that much considered by me ... rhuoomm ... maybe instead of naked flames I should rather consider to present other naked-things, having nothing to do with cooking, but might help to promote me better ... rhuoomm ... see, life can be difficult, even for a tree ... huooommmmm
