OK, Barliman... How much is it then for one quiet gallion ?
48 hours of voluntary work in the basement..... including pest control

Do you mean it has to be poured quietly, or are you going to drink it quietly? Actually, it's the same price either way, but I recommend the first, otherwise Nob will sing as he pours it, and you wouldn't want that.
But actually, I'll let you have it for free, because I'm celebrating having just got an M162 on eBay for just £2.75 including postage. Now that's what I call a bargain...

I would pour and drink it quickly.
Thank you so much MAster barliman for this biggest free drink !
And may the lady luck stay around you until your colletion holes are filled.
Cheers to everyone !

Ah, you heard me. Bonjour
It's third time I try to make you stop. At the end, a hobbit is always noisy enough !

Barliman !
Bring some scrumpy to our beloved Master Caster. No need to add any sort of plant in it.
kshlink...

Back again... double tasking...
Measels nasty thing, but not really much you can do.
Fresh air, a lot of clean water and organic vegetables / fruit and less to no meat. Very good is Nettle tea. It's a blood cleanser!

I'm impressed. I never managed to do more than a single and short task at a time. Brain limitation.
I am sure our dear elf will appreciate these advices.

funny you would quote my favorite austrian-american: they aired »last action hero« yesterday night and it was a thoroughly enjoyable watch. arnold beckenbauer (that’s an insider) … the guy’s a genius!

Hi Gildor,
I hope you are getting better ?

hi there master Holger
well measels is almost over for me but my BIG problem is my eyes... please tell me you know something about what to do to calm my eyes... any hint of light hurt them, make me cry, (i am currently typing my eyes closed...too hurting) the "white of my eyes" has gone almost totally red (like red ink diffused in my eyes)

That'll be the scrumpy. The effect wears off after a while. Just drink two pints a day until you can see better.

Again, Master healer barliman is trying to make some good money with his rats
Gildor, I recon you follow Mistress Caster instructions and I will drink the scrumpy for you .
Who knows...Your red eyes + scrumpy might turn you into evil whereas I am already a bit mad.

Hmm, not good my friend.
The nettle tea will help you internal to clean the blood. Wear sunglasses if possible. That was not only measels.... by the sounds of it, but the english word for this is not coming to me. It affects the eyes and can leave you with issues later, ie. sight not as good as it was and issues with light for several months at times. So most important to stay out of the sunlight till it has gone completely!!
I don't know the term in english. but in German it's called Guertelrose, which affects the liver aswell. Drink organic lemon juice (supports the liver) and if the eyes are swollen, sore or itchy, use chamomile (herb). Avilable from health food store. It will be a loose herb. use about 1/4 litre boiled water to 2 tablespoons of herb and pour over it. Let it sit then strain. Get a cotton cloth (clean) and dip into the mix and put over your eyes. Do that several times per day. You can reuse the strained a few times so don't throw out. However after a day do discard.
My wife had to pack away her herbal books (renovations), hence she knows the German herbal name but not the latin off by heart. Usually she looks up the latin word for certain herbs and then translates into the english herbal name. Give her some time, Iam sure she will find other herbs that will ease the eye issue and the rest.

Something else came to mind. Very helpful would be Swedish Bitter (in German Schweden Kraeuter) which should be available in pharmacy stores (German Apotheke). It is a mix of a lot of different herbs emerced in alcohol left out in the sun and turned twice a day. Put the liquid on a cloth and put this on your eyes. Repeat this as often as possibile for as long as possible. If you can, apply it over night.
Hope you are getting better soon.

what you mean with gürtelrose is »herpes zoster« / »shingles« (français: zona). i sure hope it hasn’t infected the eyes, but is rather only a conjunctivitis!

on a semi-related note—the everquest troll by julie guthrie is now officially my favorite troll sculpt! man, if only he was a bit bigger … but he can still grow …

You only get shingles if you've had measles before. If you haven't had measles, you can't get shingles.

barliman, the above is true if you substitute measles with chickenpox.
